On 10/30/2023 at approximately 1300 hours, unknown subject(s) vandalized two tool lock boxes on work trucks. The subjects were scared away by the reporting party before gaining access to the tools. The Ford belongs to MJ Mechanical Services, whose Service Technician, was working inside of 1800 Sierra Point Parkway.

Officers responded for the report of a disturbance. Officers ultimately arrested the husband for false imprisonment and spousal battery. He was booked into county jail.

On 10/25/2023, an unknown suspect(s) obtained the victim's credit card information without her knowledge or permission and purchased $1,060.50 worth of items on-line at Boot Barn. On 10/26/2023, the items from these purchases were picked up in person by the suspect(s) at a Boot Barn store in Temecula and a Boot Bar store Banning, both in California. The victim contacted her credit card company to file a report. The credit card was canceled. This report will be sent to Riverside County Sheriff's Department and Banning Police Department for further investigation.

On 10/22/2023 between 2100 hours and 0000 hours, several mailboxes were vandalized at 34 Visitacion Avenue in Brisbane. It is unknown if any mail was taken from inside the damaged mailboxes. There is no suspect information at this time.

On 10/17/2023 at approximately 1606 hours, a 14-year-old Confidential Person (CP) stated she wanted to die and felt like killing herself after an argument with her parents. The CP was subsequently placed on a psychiatric hold for being a danger to herself.

Officers responded to a disturbance and located a male and female in a verbal altercation. The male used his vehicle to block and damage the female's vehicle. The female signed a citizen's arrest form against the male and he was issued a promise to appear.

Between 10/13/23 and 10/17/23, the suspect violated a workplace restraining order where the protected is the protected party. During these dates, the suspect called the victim at least 15 times annoying and harassing him. This case has been forwarded to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office for review.

On 10/16/2023 at approximately 1957 hours, a resident was contacted at her residence and she advised officers that her nephew, has made her feel like she is not in control of her life. Upon further investigation it was known that there was no crime and she just needs her space. This report is for informational purposes only.

On 10/15/2023 at approximately 1650 hours, officers were dispatched on a report of a person not moving inside of a motor home, and a foul smell coming from inside. A subject was located unresponsive and his body was in advanced stages of decomposition. Brisbane Fire pronounced the subject deceased at 1658 hours. San Mateo County Coroner later took possession of the body. This case was taken for informational purposes only.

On 10/13/2023 at approximately 2000 hours, the victim parked his vehicle, across the street from community park. At approximately 0001 hours on 10/14/2023 it was discovered that an unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the vehicle by breaking the key locks on the driver door and rear door. No items were reportedly removed from the vehicle. There is currently no suspect information at this time.

A subject came to the BPD to turn in marijuana and methamphetamine. The contraband was collected and booked for destruction.

Officers responded for the report of a disturbance and hotel staff requested BPD officers to stand by while they kicked the guests out of the room.

A Suspected Child Abuse Report was sent to BPD from CPS. The report stated that the confidential person was sexually abused by a relative 11 years ago but that the suspect now resides in a different county. The confidential person stated she did not want to follow through due to the fact that she isnt ready.

On 10/11/2023 at approximately 2310 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered the victim's vehicle. Approximately $600 worth of tools were stolen from inside the Department of Public Work’s truck that belongs to the city of Brisbane. The subject(s) used an unknown tool to pry open the lock boxes in the truck and damaged five locks, the damages were estimated to cost approximately $3,000. The Truck was locked and secured at the time of the incident. At this time there are no suspect leads or Information.

On 10/9/2023, Officers recovered a stolen vehicle that had been previously entered into the Stolen Vehicle System (SVS) as stolen, and the owner of the vehicle had towed it to 200 Valley Drive in Brisbane. This vehicle was removed from SVS and released to the owner.

On 10/9/23 at approximately 0622 hours, A subject was found laying down along the top embankment of San Bruno Ave., just west of McClain Rd. The subject displayed objective signs of alcohol consumption and was unable to care for himself. The subject was arrested for 647(f) PC, transported to the San Mateo County Jail, and then released per 849(b)(2).

Officers responded for the report of a disturbance and determined the incident to be verbal only between a dating couple. No physical altercation occurred.

Sometime between 1800 hours on 10/06/2023 and 1000 hours on 10/07/2023, unknown subject(s) damaged the front passenger window of the victim's vehicle. No entry was made into the vehicle. The victim estimates the cost of the window repair to be $500. There are no cameras at this location. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information.

Officers located a vehicle in the parking lot that had a shattered window. Officers attempted to notify the owner of the vehicle and left his information with the 2 business' that share the parking lot.

On 10/05/2023 between 1801 hours and 1915 hours, unknown suspect(s) burglarized and vandalized and National Car Rental vehicle and the victim's vehicle. The items were estimated to cost $16,563.49 to replace and approximately $1,000 to repair the broken vehicle’s windows. This case will be suspended due to the lack of investigative leads to identify the unknown suspect(s).

Officers responded for the report of a disturbance between a male and female. Officers determined the incident to be a verbal argument only.

On 10/05/2023, unknown subject(s) smashed the rear left passenger window of the victim's vehicle and removed a black Nike gym bag containing approximately $500 in gym equipment. The victim stated nobody had permission to access her vehicle and she was in possession of the only key to the vehicle. Estimated repair of the window is $500. An area check was conducted to look for other victims and/or witnesses. At this point there are no suspect leads or information.

Officer initiated a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle but the driver/ vehicle failed to yield resulting in a short vehicle pursuit. The pursuit was terminated due to regard for public safety.

On 10/04/2023 between the hours of 0000 and 0600 hours, an unknown subject(s) used force to enter a locked vehicle but did not take anything. The unknown subject(s) also stole a Ring security camera worth approximately $100 from the front door without the owner’s consent. This case is suspended pending further suspect information.

On 10/04/2023 at approximately 0612 hours, three unknown suspects were tampering with a vehicle. Three unknown suspects attempted to remove the catalytic converter from the vehicle but were unsuccessful. The suspects were last seen going eastbound in a white Audi SUV on San Bruno Avenue in Brisbane. I recommend this case be suspended pending further leads or suspect information.

09/29/2023 between 0905 and 1710 hours, an unknown suspect(s) stole and removed the victim's front California License Plate, front license plate bracket, front tow hitch cover, and rear driver side wheel well cover without the victim's permission. There is no estimated cost at this time. No suspect information or leads.

Officers responded for the report of a vehicle collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and was transported to the hospital.

Officers responded for the report of a disturbance. Officers determined that the incident was a verbal argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend and no physical altercation occurred. No medical assistance was needed.
