At approximately 1304 hours, a welfare check was conducted on a male who swam approximately 40-50 minutes in the lagoon. The male did not exit the lagoon after several requests, did not respond to simple questions, and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. The male was subsequently placed on a psychiatric hold for being a danger to himself.

Sometime between 7/25/2022 and 7/28/2022, an unknown suspect knowingly and falsely represented himself as a lawyer representing the victim's friend/customer and defrauded the victim out of $40,000 in cash. There is no suspect information at this time.

At approximately 2223 hours, an unknown suspect entered the victim's residence without the consent of the owner. The suspect stole approximately $9,060 worth of jewelry, electronics, cash, and other miscellaneous items. The suspect stole credit cards and purchased food and other items at stores and restaurants in two different cities in the East Bay Area. This is an ongoing investigation and I recommend this case be suspended pending further investigative leads.

At approximately 1447 hours, a resident was the victim of theft by unknown suspects. The loss was a golf club, children’s toy, and food valued at approximately $344.57. Surveillance video shows the unknown suspect taking the packages from the front door then leaving in the suspect vehicle towards Silverspot Drive. Due to lack of identifiable information of the suspect vehicle, this case will be suspended pending further investigative leads to help identify the suspect vehicle/suspects.

A black Chevrolet key fob, car key, and tile tracker on a key chain were turned into the Brisbane Police Department by a citizen as found property. The items were located on the baseball field at the Mission Blue Rec center baseball field. Officers attempted to locate a Chevrolet near the baseball field but was unable to locate any. The items were booked into the Brisbane Police Department lockers as found property.

Between Tuesday 07/26/2022 at 1830 hours and Wednesday 07/27/2022 at 0630 hours, a resident was the victim of vandalism to his vehicle by unknown suspects. The victim's vehicle was parked in his driveway and sustained damages to the wire mesh surrounding his catalytic converter resulting in approximately $100 in damages. I located surveillance cameras in the area and will conduct follow up to obtain the footage to attempt to identify the unknown suspect(s).

During this time, suspect direct deposited money from the company’s bank account into her personal account totaling $3,449.02. The suspect also opened a company credit card in her name making personal charges of $29,790.83. The deposits and credit card charges were completed without the company’s permission. Case was forwarded to the DA's Office for review.

On 7/21/22 at approximately 0115 hours, a male adult siphoned the gas and then attempted to steal the catalytic converter from the victim's vehicle. The suspects cut into the metal of the catalytic converter but did not remove the catalytic converter because the victim interrupted the suspect. The suspect drove away in a silver 2-door Mercedes (unknown license plate number).

Video surveillance captured the suspects stealing the victim's red Peugot Sport Bike, which was not secured. The victim mentioned his daughter's bicycle was also stolen and his Chevrolet Camaro was rummaged through. This case was suspended pending further investigative leads.

Officers observed surveillance footage of the suspect entering the business who damaged property and stole approximately $50. Officers conducted an area check of the suspect and located him nearby. During a records check, the suspect was found to have warrants for his arrest. The suspect was arrest for burglary and warrants and was booked into the county jail.

At approximately 1630 hours, the victim was bit on her left pointer finger and middle finger by an unknown dog. The incident occurred in the parking lot at 500 Sierra Point Parkway. The bite broke through the victim’s skin, and she later lost consciousness for approximately 15-30 seconds. The victim was taken inside the Yacht Club where paramedics later treated her wound. On 07/08/2022, at approximately 0338 hours, a resident was the victim of theft of her catalytic converter and vandalism to the ignition of her vehicle. The vehicle was originally parked in front of 300 Alvarado Street, taken by the unknown suspects, then located in front of 68 Alvarado Street. The estimated value to replace the catalytic converter was $1800. The estimated value to replace the ignition was $600 for a total loss of $2,400. This case will remain open pending surveillance footage to help identify the unknown suspect(s).
