On 11/29 at 1955 hours, an officer stopped a vehicle after the officer noticed that the driver had gotten out and started looking into vehicles in an area known for vehicle burglaries. The officer found no actual crime had been committed so all the occupants were sent on their way. The vehicle was towed from the scene due to no one in the vehicle having a valid driver's license. On 11/29, sometime between 1400 and 1530 hours, an unknown suspect(s) burglarized the victim's vehicle by smashing the window and taking a backpack. The suspect(s) then used the victim's debit card in SF. The victim was unable to supply police with his debit card number, therefore follow up investigation could not take place. Case suspended. On 11/26 at 2050 hours, officers responded to a call of an assault that had just occurred. The female victim was in a vehicle with a male subject when the female suspect assault the female by striking her in the face numerous times. On 11/25 at 0930 hours, an officer contacted a subject at a possible homeless encampment. While speaking with the subject the officer noticed a clear baggie containing what appeared to be methamphetamine. The officer later located a pipe and needles used to ingest methamphetamine. On 12/25 at 0059 hours, an officer contacted a subject known to be on probation. A search of the subject revealed a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. The subject was cited and released from the scene. Report #17-1125-001

On 11/24 an officer responded to a call harassing phone calls. The victim stated he was receiving unwanted calls from someone he had done work for. The subject was contacted and told to stop, but the unwanted calls continued. This case will be forwarded to the District Attorney's Office for review for charges to be filed. Report #17-1124-001

On 11/22 at 2121 hours, officers responded to a call of subjects creating a disturbance by kicking in a door, entering the apartment and leaving quickly. On 11/13 at 1227 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle for a code violation. When the officer approached the vehicle he smelled marijuana. On 11/11 at 1449 hours, officers were called to a disturbance. The reporting party stated the subject had stepped onto his property after he was asked not to. When police arrived to issue a citation for trespassing, the subject resisted the officers request to stop walking to sign the citation. The subject shoved the officer out of the way and the officer detained the subject by force. The subject was taken to the hospital for a minor injury and complaints of pain. On 10/30 between 1800 and 1900 hours a suspect took a jewelry box from the victim without permission. The victim had hired a day laborer and this is who the victim suspects of stealing the box.
