Suspicious Circumstance
On 11/29 at 1955 hours, an officer stopped a vehicle after the officer noticed that the driver had gotten out and started looking into vehicles in an area known for vehicle burglaries. The officer found no actual crime had been committed so all the occupants were sent on their way. The vehicle was towed from the scene due to no one in the vehicle having a valid driver's license. On 11/29, sometime between 1400 and 1530 hours, an unknown suspect(s) burglarized the victim's vehicle by smashing the window and taking a backpack. The suspect(s) then used the victim's debit card in SF. The victim was unable to supply police with his debit card number, therefore follow up investigation could not take place. Case suspended. On 11/28 at 1845 hours, an officer observed a vehicle unable to stay within the lanes. The officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and upon contact it was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. On 11/25 at 0930 hours, an officer contacted a subject at a possible homeless encampment. While speaking with the subject the officer noticed a clear baggie containing what appeared to be methamphetamine. The officer later located a pipe and needles used to ingest methamphetamine. On 11/11 at 1449 hours, officers were called to a disturbance. The reporting party stated the subject had stepped onto his property after he was asked not to. When police arrived to issue a citation for trespassing, the subject resisted the officers request to stop walking to sign the citation. The subject shoved the officer out of the way and the officer detained the subject by force. The subject was taken to the hospital for a minor injury and complaints of pain.
