Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Controlled Substance and Gun
On 12/29 at 2347 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. During that stop it was revealed that the driver was in possession of methamphetamine, and a stolen hand gun. The driver stated the person who he had been following was driving a stolen vehicle. The driver was able to get the other driver to come back to Brisbane and that subject was later detained after a brief pursuit. Case closed by arrest and subjects charged for numerous crimes. On 12/22 0715 hours, a witness called to report hearing yelling in the area. Upon arrival officers determined it was a boyfriend and girlfriend in a physical fight. On 12/15 at 0500 hours, a female came to the police department to report that she and her boyfriend had been drinking alcohol. Later while she was sleeping he woke her up yelling at her telling her to leave. He threw her keys out the door and pulled on her shirt to get her out. The female was given information on how to obtain a restraining order as well as given domestic violence info. The female declined talking to a counselor. Upon arrival the subject was agitated and when he left the scene, he struck a shed and left at a high rate of speed. The subject was contacted the next and interviewed. Sometime between 12/5 and 12/6, a vehicle in the parking lot of 2000 Shoreline Court had the truck bed area accessed and items taken. The incident occurred while the owner was staying at the hotel. The items taken were a large Pelican case containing fishing reels and multiple US Marine uniforms amounting to approximately $7500.00. There is no suspect information at this time.
