On 8/23, the reporting party stated that a suspect was tampering with her vehicle. The described suspect was found a short time later attempted to leave the area in a cab. Upon contact the suspect was found to be in possession of burglary tools and a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. The suspect also provided police with false information. On 8/22 at 1900, the victim stated her ex boyfriend took her cell phone. The ex was contacted and a search of him and his room was conducted. The story changed several times and the phone was never found. This case will be forwarded to the District Attorney's Office for review. Report #16-0822-003

On 8/10 at 2018 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. Upon contact the officer determined that the driver was under the influence of a controlled substance. The subject was taken into custody and cited and released to the staff at First Chance. Report # 16-0810-002

On 8/10 at 0717 hours, an off-duty officer was the victim of road rage with led to a brandishing of a baseball bat by the suspect. The suspect was eventually stopped in San Mateo and taken into custody. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0810-001

On 8/6 at 2137 hours, officers responded to a call of a dog that had attacked a cat. The officers were able to locate the dog but the owner was not home. The dog was transported to Peninsula Humane Society where it is to be held for observation. The owner was also cited. The cat suffered minor injuries, the dog also suffered minor injuries.
