Report for August 2, 2015 - August 31, 2015
On 8/31 at 2051 hours, officers responded to a call of a man in the bushes. Upon contact with the subject it was determined the subject was under the influence of alcohol to the point he was unable to care for himself. The subject was cited and released from the scene and transported to the San Mateo County Hospital. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0831-002.

On 8/29 at 2020 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. Upon contact with the driver it was determined the juvenile passenger had a no bail warrant and was listed as a missing person. The subject was taken into custody and transported to Hillcrest Juvenile Facility. The subject was also taken out of the Missing Persons System. Case closed. Report #15-0829-002.

On 8/29 a male subject left a threatening note on his girlfriend’s vehicle. Officers obtained an Emergency Protective Order for the victim. This case will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for Review. Report #15-0829-001.

On 8/28 at 0930 hours, officers responded to a call of a subject not breathing. Upon arrival of medics, the subject was pronounced deceased and was transported to San Mateo County General Hospital for an autopsy. Case closed. Report #15-0828-002.

On 8/27 at 1919 hours, officer responded to an overturned vehicle that was struck by a driver. Upon arrival it was determined the driver of a vehicle was driving under the influence of alcohol. Upon investigation it was learned that 5 vehicles total were damaged and the driver sustained minor injuries. The driver was cited and released and transported to SF General. Case closed by arrest. On 8/27 at 1325 hours, officers responded to a call of a stolen vehicle that had been towed by a company from San Francisco into Brisbane. Officers conducted an investigation and found nothing further to assist them in this case. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #15-0827-001.

On 8/24 at 1929 hours, a dog jumped the fence at his home and approached a subject and her dog. The subject fell over while trying to pull her dog away from the dog that escaped. The subject and the dogs did not sustain any injuries. Report taken and forwarded to the Peninsula Humane Society for review. Report #15-0824-003.

On 3/24/2015 an unknown suspect(s) opened two credit cards using the victim’s name without permission. The suspect(s) then purchased a total of $1028 worth of goods with the fraudulently opened cards. This case will be investigated by the credit card companies and was taken for information only. On 8/24 at 2330 hours, a boyfriend and girlfriend were involved in a dispute. A witness stated the dispute became physical and the boyfriend and girlfriend denied this. There was not enough evidence to prove a physical fight happened. Case taken. Report #18-0825-001.

It was later determined the male and female were in a verbal argument that escalated with the male half grabbing and holding on to the female. On 8/23 at 0220 hours, officers responded to a noise complaint. Upon arrival officers contacted an intoxicated subject. It was determined that the subject was intoxicated to the state that he was unable to care for himself and declined care. The subject was arrest and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Between 08/21/15 at approximately 2330 hours and 08/22/15 at approximately 0830 hours, an unknown suspect entered a home without permission. While in the home, the unknown suspect took several items including clothing and a cell phone. The subject was home at the time the subject entered the home. Possession of Stolen Mail
On 8/20 at 2009 hours, officers responded to a suspicious persons call. Upon arrival the two subjects were contacted and one was found to be on probation with search and seizure. Upon searching the subject USPS mail was found and later determined to taken without permission. This case will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review. Report #15-0820-001.

On 8/19 at officers responded to a disturbance call. Upon arrival and investigation it was determined the argument between a husband and wife became physical and the wife was determined to be the primary aggressor. Warrant Arrest/Resisting Arrest
On 8/17 at 1909 hours, an officer recognized a subject known to have a warrant out of Brisbane. The officer asked the subject to stop and the subject starting running into the trailer park. A search was conducted and the subject eventually started to run again, but he was eventually stopped by police. The subject was taken into custody for the warrant and the added charge of resisting arrest. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0817-002.

Domestic Incident/Warrant Arrest
On 8/17 at 1345 hours, officers were called to a home to for a possible restraining order violation. Upon arrival it was determined that the subject had several warrants for his arrest for Domestic Battery and was also wanted by Brisbane Police for a Domestic Violence incident that took place on 7/26/2015, Case 15-0726-002. On 8/16 at 1633 hours, an officer recognized a subject known to have a warrant for her arrest. The subject was stopped and the two warrants issued by the California Department of Corrections were confirmed. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Restraining Order Violation
On 8/15 at 2146 hours, an officer contacted a suspicious vehicle parked in the marina parking lot. Upon contact with the occupants it was revealed a no contact restraining order existed. Vandalism/Resisting Arrest
On 8/14 at 1834 hours, an officer responded to a harassment call. Upon arrival the officer contacted a subject who did not follow verbal demands to stay in the area and drove away from the scene. A traffic enforcement stop was conducted and the subject was taken into custody for vandalism, resisting an officer and driving without a driver’s license. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0814-005.

On 8/14 at 0326 hours, officers were dispatched to a call of reckless drivers heard in the area. Upon arrival, an officer saw one driver spinning donuts in the roadway. A traffic enforcement stop was conducted and the driver was cited and released from the scene. This will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review. Case closed by arrest. On 8/11 at 1500 hours, an ex-boyfriend and girlfriend were involved in an argument. After investigating, the officers were unable to determine who the primary aggressor was in this argument. On 8/11 at 1500 hours, an ex-boyfriend and girlfriend were involved in an argument. After investigating, the officers were unable to determine who the primary aggressor was in this argument. On 8/10 sometime between 1100 and 1130 hours, the victim left his camera bag which contained his camera on the ground near the front door of the hotel. The victim left the area and came back a short time later but was unable to locate his camera. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Under the Influence of Controlled Substance
On 8/9 at 0211 hours, an officer contacted three subjects in a suspicious vehicle. Upon contact it was revealed the subjects were in possession of suspected cocaine and marijuana. The subjects were evaluated and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. The juvenile subject was turned over to his parents and the other subjects were transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0809-001.

Probation Search/ Narcotics Arrest

On 8/8 at 0337 hours an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle that ran a red light. During the stop it was revealed that the driver had an outstanding warrant, his driver’s license was suspended, and he was also in possession fireworks and imitation firearms. On 8/7 at 1120 hours, Officers responded to a call of an aggressive dog. Upon arrival it was determined that a subject was walking his puppy when a dog from across the street approached the puppy. The dog escaped a yard while the occupant left the gate open. The dog was not aggressive, no one was hurt and no crime was committed. Subjects were advised on the leash laws. On 8/4 at 2000 hours, officers responded to a disturbance call. The male subject stated his estranged wife struck him and grabbed the steering wheel of his vehicle while he was driving. The wife has prior medical history and was found to be a danger to herself and others. The wife was placed on a 72 hour hold and transported to the hospital. On 7/26 at 1540 hours, officers responded to a road rage/brandishing a hand gun call. The victim stated the suspect brandished a gun after the driver drove erratically in front of him. The two drivers exchanged words just prior to the brandishing. The suspect was contacted on 8/5 and interviewed. This case will be forwarded to Child Protective Services since children were in the vehicle with the suspect. Report #15-0803-007.
