On 5/31 at 2114 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a bicyclist who ran a red light. A records check on the subject revealed a $15,000 warrant out of San Francisco County. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was transported to San Mateo Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0531-002.

Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 5/30 at 1435 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. Upon contact with the driver it was revealed the subject was driver under the influence of a controlled substance. During a search of the vehicle, methamphetamine was found. The subject was arrested and transported to San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0530-001.

On 5/29, an officer responded to a possible fraud call. Upon arrival the victim told police that an electronics company had called him about a large order that was placed using his credit card. The victim stated he had not authorized the purchase and the purchase was cancelled. This case is ongoing. Report #15-0529-002.

Disturbance
On 5/26 at 2200 hours, officers responded to a verbal dispute between a mother and daughter over household chores. Both parties stated the argument was over and would seek mediation for further conflict issues. On 5/27 the daughter reported that her stepfather put his hands around her neck. On 5/26 at 2033 hours, an officer located a vehicle with a broken window. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and confirmed the vehicle had been broken into. Suspicious Vehicle
On 5/24 at 2123 hours, officers located an abandoned vehicle with major damage. The identification had all been tampered with. Upon further investigation, officers were able to identify the owner of the vehicle. The owner was interviewed and admitted to off-roading and overturning his vehicle. The owner then scratched off the identifying numbers and abandoned the vehicle. This case is to be forwarded to the District Attorney?s office for review and charges to be filed for altering ID numbers and abandoning a vehicle. Report #15-0524-002.

On 5/21 at 0300 hours, an officer contacted two subjects in a suspicious vehicle. Upon conducting a consent search of the vehicle, a small baggie containing methamphetamine was found in the vehicle. The driver was also found to be under the influence of methamphetamine. He driver was arrested and transported the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0521-001.

On 5/17 at 1100 hours, a guest at the hotel left his luggage in the hall of the hotel. Several hours later he realized this and upon his return the luggage was no longer there and it could not be found. There is no video surveillance in the area were the bags had been left. Battery with Serious Injuries
On 5/15 at 2300 hours, officers responded to a physical fight at a bar. Upon arrival all parties had been separated and some left the scene. One person suffered serious injuries but intoxicated to the point he was unable to give a statement. Video surveillance was viewed and the suspect was identified and taken into custody on 5/18 for battery and assault with a deadly weapon. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0515-002.

On 5/13 at 2128 hours, a subject contacted an officer. During the contact the officer noticed the subject displayed signs of being under the influence. On 5/4 at 2054 hours while conducting a passing check, an officer noticed a subject he is familiar with. Contact was made with the subject and a records check revealed a $5,000 warrant out of San Mateo County. While being searched the subject threw a case on the ground that contained amphetamine and a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. On 5/2 at 2256 hours, officers responded to a call of a collision with unknown injuries. Upon arrival it was determined to be a solo vehicle collision with no injuries. One subject was determined to be under the influence to a point he was unable to care for himself. When officers attempted to contact the subject he became combative with officers.
