Report for April 1, 2015 - April 29, 2015
On 4/29 at 2107 hours, an officer contacted a subject to talk about the above incident. A records check revealed a $5,000 warrant out of San Mateo County for being under the influence of a controlled substance. The subject was also evaluated and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance at the time of contact. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0429-002.
On 4/29 at 1638 hours, a mother and son were involved in a verbal argument. During the argument a friend of the mothers told the son to stop disrespecting his mother. The son then took a small hatchet out but did not hold it in a threatening manner and the friend was not in fear. Case taken for information only. Report #15-0429-001.
On 4/28 at 2244 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle driving in and out of lanes on the roadway. After contact it was determined the driver had been driving the vehicle while impaired by a controlled substance. The driver was cited and released at First Chance. Case closed by arrest. On 4/27 at 2225 hours, an officer contacted a subject known to have a warrant out of San Mateo County. The $25,000 warrant was confirmed and the subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0427-002.
On 4/26 at 1700 hours, an officer contacted a subject who was later determined to have a warrant out of Santa Clara County for $7,500. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0426-002.
On 4/26 at 0900 hours, officers responded to Lipman Middle School on the report of a vandalism. Several walls were spray painted with various symbols and words. This case may be related to a Daly City case currently under investigation. This case is ongoing. Report #15-0426-001.
On 4/25 at 2130 hours, an officer found graffiti on the changing table of the restroom. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #15-0423-003.
On 4/23 at 2028 hours, officers responded to a restaurant where a group of subjects left without paying the tab. The subjects were identified and interviewed. After reviewing video footage, it was determined the subjects left without paying. The subjects later paid the bill and were advised they were no longer welcome at the restaurant. Case closed. Report #15-0423-006.
On 4/23 an officer responded to a fraud call. The victim stated that his and his wife?s social security number had been obtained by an unknown suspect(s). The suspect(s) then filed the victim?s tax returns. This case has been suspended due to lack of investigative leads. Report #15-0423-003.
On 4/23 at 0040 hours, officers responded to a suspicious person banging on the door of the fire house. Upon arrival the subject was found. A records check on the subject revealed a no bail warrant out of Oakland and a $7,500 out of San Mateo County. The subject was taken into custody and transported the San Mateo County jail. On 4/22 at 1336 hours, officers responded to a call of an inebriated subject passed out on the sidewalk. Upon contact the subject stated he wanted to commit suicide. The subject was determined to be a danger to himself and was placed on a 72 hour physiological hold. Case closed. Report #15-0422-002.
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 4/22 at 0042 hours, an officer consensually conducted a subject. After speaking with the subject it was revealed that she was under the influence of methamphetamine. The subject was cited and released to First Chance. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0420-002.
On 4/21 at 1620 hours, an officer responded to a hit and run. The victim?s vehicle was struck and the other party left the scene without leaving any information or contacting law enforcement. This case has been suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #15-0421-002.
Driving Under the Influence of Drugs
On 4/21 at 1327 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop. After investigation, it was determined the driver was under the influence of drugs. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0421-001.
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 4/20 at 1620 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. After investigation it was revealed the driver was under the influence of methamphetamine. The subject also violated the terms of his parole and was subsequently placed on a parole hold. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0420-002.
On 420 at 1530 Officers responded to a call of a bomb threat. Upon arrival no bomb was found. The suspect responsible for making call was located and taken into custody and charged with making a false bomb threat, criminal threats and violating a restraining order. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-0420-001.
Driving Under the Influence of Drugs
On 4/19 at 2047 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop. After investigation, it was determined the driver was under the influence of methamphetamine. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0419-004.
On 4/19 at 1224 hours, two neighbors were involved in a verbal dispute over construction noise. Both parties were advised of trespassing laws and both parties stated they understood. Case taken for information only. Report #15-0419-003.
Possession of a Controlled Substance
On 4/17 at 2150 hours, an officer contacted a suspicious person seen walking out of the bushes. It was later determined that the subject was in possession of methamphetamine. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0417-004.
Child Protective Services
On 4/15 at 1700 hours, an officer met with CPS and the parents of a 3 month old child. The mother had noticed three small bruises on the babies face the day before. Based on the overall investigation, it was determined there was no merit to a parent or caretaker intentionally harming the child. This case was taken for information. Report #15-0415-003.
Sometime between 4/14 and 4/15 an unknown suspect(s) took the rear license plate off of the victim?s vehicle without permission. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #15-0415-002.
Possession/Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 4/15 at 0102 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. Upon contact it was determined that both occupants were under the influence of methamphetamine. It was also determined that the driver was also in possession of methamphetamine. Both subjects were taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. On 4/14 at 1028 hours, an officer responded to a suspicious vehicle call. Upon arrival it was revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen out of San Francisco. The registered owner could not be reached at the time and the vehicle was towed from the scene. Case closed. Report #15-0414-001.
On 4/13 at 2110 hours, an officer viewed a suspicious vehicle and contacted the subjects inside. A records check revealed a warrant for one subject out of San Francisco. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was taken into custody. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0413-003.
The reporting party stated that sometime between 4/12 and 4/13 an unknown suspect(s) smashed a window on his vehicle and took miscellaneous items. The total loss is approximately $570. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #15-0413-001.
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 4/12 at 1002 hours, Officers contacted a subject seen walking rapidly and clutching a backpack to his chest. After contact it was determined that the subject was under the influence of a controlled substance. The subject was cited and released at San Mateo County General Hospital. Case closed. Report #15-0412-001.
On 4/9 at 0751 hours, officer responded to a report of a vandalism. Upon arrival police noticed spray painted letters on a building. There is no suspect information at this time. Report forwarded to the Department of Public Works. Report #15-0409-001.
On 4/9 at 1400 hours, an officer noticed a subject known to have a warrant. The subject was contacted, the warrant was confirmed and the subject was taken into custody. Case closed by arrest. #15-0409-002.
On 4/9 sometime between 1600 and 2230 hours, an unknown suspect(s) broke a flood lamp and extension cord. The cost to replace the items is approximately $13.00. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended. Report #15-0409-003.
On 4/8 at 1107 hours, the victim contacted the police to report that an unknown suspect(s) had opened a Verizon account using his personal information without permission. The account has since been disabled. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #15-0408-001.
Violation of a Restraining Order
On 4/8 at 1239 hours, an officer responded to a call of a domestic violence restraining order violation. The protected party stated the restrained party had already left the scene prior to police arrival. Case taken to be forwarded to the San Mateo County District Attorney?s Office for review. Report #15-0408-002.
On 4/7 at 2250 hours, an officer was conducting a follow up investigation on a different matter and contacted a subject thought to be involved. It was later determined that the subject was in possession of marijuana without a valid medicinal marijuana card. The subject was cited and released from the scene. Report #15-0407-002.
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 4/7 at 2326 hours, an officer contacted a subject thought to be carrying an open container of alcohol. It was later determined the subject was under the influence of methamphetamine. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0407-003.
On 4/6 at 1617 hours, an officer attempted to stop a vehicle that was speeding. The vehicle made several evasive maneuvers and eventually stopped at a dead end. The subject was found to be on parole. The subject was given a citation and the report will be forwarded to his Parole Agent for further action. Case closed. Report #15-0406-005.
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 4/6 at 2223 hours, an officer contacted a subject who was seen jaywalking. It was later determined the subject was under the influence of a controlled substance. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0407-002.
On 4/5 at 1219 hours, an officer observed a vehicle driving in a reckless manner. The officer saw the driver ?drifting? the vehicle in a lot surrounded by light poles, curbs and the building. The driver was issued a citation and released from the scene. Report #15-0405-001.
Possession of a Controlled Substance/Paraphernalia
On 4/4 at 1730 hours, officers conducted a probation search at a residence. The subject was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Report #15-0404-001.
On 4/4 at 2125 hours, an officer contacted the driver of a vehicle that was stopped in the roadway. It was later determined the driver had been driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The driver was taken into custody and transported to a facility until sober. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0404-002.
Possession of a Controlled Substance
On 4/1 at 0130 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. Upon contact the officer determined the driver was in possession of a controlled substance. The driver was cited and released from the scene. Report #15-0401-001.
Sometime between 3/29 and 4/1 an unknown suspect(s) cut and removed battery cables and trailer lighting cables from a trailer. The cables and lighting were found at the scene. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #15-0401-003.
