Sometime between 2/26 and 2/27, an unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked truck and took tools without permission. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further suspect information. Report #15-0227-001.
Driving Under the Influence
On 2/22 at 0042 hours, an officer contacted the occupants of a suspicious vehicle. The officer saw an open container of alcohol and the driver admitted to having had a drink but the officer had no evidence the vehicle had been driven. The occupants stated they were going to call a cab to get home. The officer parked nearby and a short time later he noticed the vehicle leaving. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0223-001.
Obstructing a Police Officer
On 2/23 at 0057 hours, an officer was conducting an investigation on a drunk driver. The passenger in the vehicle became argumentative and interfered with the officer?s investigation to the point the investigation became unsafe to continue. The passenger was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0223-002.
Sometime between 2/20 and 2/23, an unknown suspect(s) cut a hole in a fence belonging to a business. Nothing was taken from the business and the estimated cost of damage is $600. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending suspect information. Report #15-0223-003.
On 2/21 at 0651 hours, officers responded to a vandalism call. The reporting party stated she parked her vehicle outside of the business at 2200 hours and in the morning she found a large scratch on her vehicle. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #15-0221-001.
On 2/21 at 1326 hours, an officer contacted a subject known to have a warrant out of San Mateo County. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0221-002.
Driving Under the Influence of Drugs
On 2/20 at 1023 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. Upon investigation it was revealed that the driver had been driving the vehicle under the influence of marijuana. The subject was cited and released to a detox facility. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0220-001.
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 2/20 at 1442 hours, an officer observed a subject walking in the middle of the road. Upon investigation it was revealed the subject was under the influence of methamphetamine. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0220-003.
On 2/20 at 1500 hours, a subject contacted police stating he had been strangled by another subject. After investigation it was revealed there was insufficient evidence to arrest the other subject. Report #15-0220-004.
On 2/20 at 1715 hours, an officer noticed a male subject urinating on the side of the roadway. Upon contacting the subject it was revealed the subject had also supplied alcohol to a minor and had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. The subject was cited and released from the scene. Report #15-0220-005.
Driving Under the Influence
On 2/20 at 2024 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. It was later determined the driver had been driving under the influence of alcohol. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. #15-0220-006.
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 2/17 at 2314 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. Upon investigation it was revealed that one subject in the vehicle was in possession of methamphetamine and under the influence of methamphetamine. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0218-001.
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 2/16 at 0914 hours, an officer contacted two subjects in a suspicious vehicle. It was later determined that one subject was on probation and also under the influence of a controlled substance. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0216-001.
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 2/15 at 2240 hours, officers contacted a suspicious person. Upon investigation it was revealed that the subject had 3 outstanding warrants, was under the influence of methamphetamine, in possession of paraphernalia and in also in possession of stolen property. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0215-002.
Restraining Order Violation
On 2/14 officers responded to a restraining order violation. Upon arrival it was determined that the restrained party had dropped off a gift for his daughters which violated the order. The subject was later found and arrested for the violation. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0214-002.
On 2/14 at 2254 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. Upon investigation it was revealed that the driver gave the officer an ID card belonging to someone else. It was also revealed that the driver had alcohol in the vehicle and the driver was not 21 years of age. The driver was cited and released from the scene. Case to be forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office for review. Case closed. Report #15-0214-003.
On 2/13 at 1924 hours, officers were called to what sounded like a physical fight in progress. It was later determined that an altercation had occurred involving four people and two were no longer on scene. A citizen?s arrest was signed by the injured party. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival. This case is ongoing. Report #15-0213-002.
On 2/13 at 2317 hours, officers responded to a hit and run in the parking lot of the hotel. The subject fled the scene without leaving an informational note for the owner of the vehicle. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #15-0214-001.
On 2/12 at 2204 hours, officers were dispatched to assist the Brisbane Fire Department with a vehicle fire. It was later revealed the vehicle had been an unreported stolen vehicle out of Richmond. Richmond police conducted the stolen vehicle investigation. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Case closed. Report #15-0212-002.
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 2/10 at 2158 hours, an officer made contact with a known subject. The officer conducted a series of tests and found the subject to be under the influence of what appeared to be methamphetamine. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0210-004.
Possession of Concentrated Cannabis
On 2/10 at 2204 hours, while conducting a foot patrol an officer contacted a subject walking down the street. Upon contacting the subject it was later determined the subject was in possession of concentrated cannabis. The subject was cited and released from the scene. Report to be forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office for review. Report #15-0211-001.
On 2/9 at 2140 hours, an officer was conducting a foot patrol and noticed graffiti on the brick wall. There is no suspect information at this time and the cost of the damage is also unknown. Report #15-0209-001.
Domestic Related Incident
On 2/9 at 2142 hours, officers responded to a disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend who are currently breaking up. The disturbance remained verbal only. A report was taken and will be forwarded to a domestic counselor for review. Case taken for information. Report #15-0209-002.
On 2/2 at 0745 hours, an employee who had gotten laid off verbally threatened employees working at the time. The employees requested no further police action. The ex-employee was contacted and admonished to not contact the business again. Case taken for information only at this time. Report #15-0210-001.
On 2/8 at 0915 hours, Brisbane officers conducted a probation search of a home. During the search, several occupants were contacted. One occupant was found to have a felony no bail warrant out of San Francisco. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0208-001.
Possession of Controlled Substance and Paraphernalia
On 2/8 at 0915 hours, Brisbane officers conducted a probation search of a home. During the search, the probationer was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a pipe used to smoke it. The subject was taken into custody and transported the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0208-001.
On 2/6 at 1745 hours, a subject known to police was standing in front of a business. The subject was known to police to have an arrest warrant for $5000. The subject was contacted and the warrant was confirmed. The subject was cited and released from the scene. Report #15-0206-001.
On 2/6 at 2111 hours, officers contacted a subject known to be on probation with search and seizure. While being searched, the subject was found to be in possession of an open container of alcohol. The subject was cited for the Brisbane Municipal Code violation and released from the scene. Report #15-0206-002.
Warrant/Possession of Controlled Substance
On 2/5 at 0008 hours, officers contacted a suspicious person. It was revealed the subject had a $500 warrant and was also in possession of methamphetamine and a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. The subject was cited and released for the warrant and possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0205-001 and 15-0205-002.
On 2/5 at approximately 0640 hours, a boyfriend and girlfriend were involved in a physical fight in the parking lot of her employer. With his fist, the boyfriend punched the girlfriend in the mouth causing injury. The boyfriend left the scene and was later arrested by police when he came back to pick up the girlfriend. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0205-003.
Sometime between 1/31 and 2/4, an unknown suspect used the victim?s identification fraudulently. The suspect ordered an unknown item and was able to withdraw $1,167.00 from her bank account. The victim was able to freeze all her accounts. Case suspended pending further suspect information. Report #15-0205-004.
Sometime between 2/1 an 2/2, the victim was contacted by a credit monitoring company and told that 4 credit cards had been opened in his name. The suspect was able to use the Citibank card and charge an unknown amount. The victim was able to close the other accounts. This case has been suspended pending further suspect information. Report #15-0201-002.
On 2/3 at 1515 hours, officers located an unoccupied vehicle reported as stolen out of San Francisco. The officers contacted the registered owner who picked up their vehicle without incident. There was no evidence left at the scene. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #15-0203-001.
Possession of a Concealed Knife
On 2/3 at 1811 hours, officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the area. Upon contact the subject was found to be in possession of a concealed long knife. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0203-002.
Domestic Related Incident
On 2/1 at 1800 hours, a husband and wife who are currently separated were involved a verbal dispute in front of their 7 year old daughter. Both the parents stated the arguments have been an ongoing issue and the daughter is often present. An informational report has been taken and will also be forwarded to Child Protective Services for review. Report #15-0202-001.
Sometime between 1/18 and 2/2, an unknown suspect(s) entered a locked RV and took miscellaneous items. Two suspects were interviewed but there was insufficient evidence to link either party to the crime. This case is ongoing. Report #15-0202-003.
On 2/1 at 0749 hours, an officer was conducting a passing check and noticed a suspicious vehicle. It was later determined both occupants were in possession of marijuana without a medical marijuana card. Both subjects were cited and released from the scene. Report#15-0201-001 and 15-0201-002.
