Attempted Robbery
On 1/31 at 2000 hours, officers responded to the area of Industrial Way at Bayshore Blvd. An unknown suspect had walked up to the victim, told him he had a gun and demanded cash. The victim was struck in the head with the weapon which was determined to be the handle of a hammer. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. This case is currently under investigation. Possession of Controlled Substance
On 1/30 at 0121 hours, an officer located a suspicious vehicle parked to the rear of the building. During a consensual search of the vehicle officers located methamphetamine and a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. The subject was cited and released from the scene. Report #15-0130-001.

On 1/30 between 1155 and 1156 hours, an unknown male suspect took a bicycle off the back of a vehicle without permission and rode away on it. The suspect was last seen on video surveillance riding towards Guadalupe Canyon Parkway. There is no further suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. On 1/29 at 1459 hours, Officers responded to the station on a report of an ex-husband refusing to get out of a vehicle belonging to his ex-wife. The two were involved in a verbal argument in the vehicle and the ex-wife drove to the police station for assistance. On 1/27 at 0615 hours, officers responded to a call of clothing being found at the bus stop. The officers were unable to determine who the clothing belonged to or if a crime had occurred. On 1/25 at 1440 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. An odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle and upon searching the vehicle marijuana was found. Under the Influence Controlled Substance
On 1/25 at 2142 hours, an officer was flagged down by a male subject who seemed distraught and was crying. The officer noted the subject displayed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. While they talked, the subject became combative and began swinging his fists at the officer. The subject was also able to take the officers flashlight. The officer was able to subdue the subject until other officers arrived on scene to assist in taking the subject into custody. On 1/21 at 0950 hours, Brisbane Officers along with Secret Service and San Mateo County Probation conducted a probation search on a residence. The two probationers living there were subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of paraphernalia and committing an offense while out on bail. On 1/18 a resident reported he had received several prepaid USPS money orders in the mail and thought it was suspicious. The letter inside stated he had been chosen to be a ?secret shopper? at several different stores. He was advised to spend a portion of the money then return the rest. The woman became very agitated and threw a dirty towel at the husband?s face which then landed on the baby?s head. Domestic Related Incident
On 1/1 at 0621 hours, officer responded to a report of a person being held against their will. Upon investigation officers found no conclusive signs that any physical force was used by either party. One party was served with a restraining order and left the scene. No merit to any crime. Due to the number of police contacts, this case has been forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office for review. Report #15-0101-002.

Hit and Run
On 1/1 at 0946 hours, an officer responded to a call of a hit and run. The owner advised the vehicle was side swiped sometime overnight. At approximately 0500 hours, the owner heard a crash sound but did not look out her window at the time. The driver of the vehicle left the scene without leaving a note. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #15-0101-003.
