Possession of Paraphernalia
On 12/31 at 2108 hours, an officer contacted a subject who attempted to hide a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. The pipe was found by the officer and the subject admitted that it was his. The subject was cited and released from the scene. Case to be forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office for review. Report #14-1231-001.
Possession of Controlled Substance
On 12/30 at 2132 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. A records check revealed a warrant out of San Bernardino County for the driver. A search of the vehicle was conducted and methamphetamine and a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine was found in the vehicle. The driver was cited and released from the scene. Case to be forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office for review. Report #14-1230-002.
On 12/30 at 0336 hours, officers contacted two subjects in the park with several bags of clothing. The subjects stated they had found all the clothing in the trash and were looking through it. This could not be confirmed and the clothing was taken as found property. Case suspended pending identification of the property. Report #14-1230-001.
Solicitation Without a Permit
On 12/29 at 1556 hours, officers were dispatched to a call of aggressive solicitors in the area. The solicitors were contacted and the checks they had collected were taken as evidence. The solicitors were all cited and released from the scene. This case will be forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office for prosecution. Report #14-1229-001.
On 12/29 at 1552 hours, officers were contacted a subject who had been reported missing by her caregiver. The caregiver was contacted and the subject was taken out of the missing persons system. Case closed. Report #14-1229-002.
On 12/29 officers responded to a report of a lost cell phone. The reporting party stated they had dropped their phone and were later unable to find it. They used a tracking device and the phone was located in San Mateo prior to the phone being turned off. San Mateo Police were unable to locate the phone. Case taken pending further leads. Report #14-1229-003.
On 12/29 at 2230 hours, a juvenile was found at a park in violation of the curfew law. The juvenile who is visiting his father from out of town was also in possession of cigarettes. The parent was contacted and released to the father. Report taken for information. Report #14-1229-004.
On 12/28 at 1338 hours, officers responded to a disturbance. Upon arrival the roommate stated she had been making comments about the voices in her head telling her to kill herself. Officers determined she was a danger to herself and was transported to the hospital. Case closed. Report #14-1228-001.
On 12/28 at 0234 hours, Brisbane officers were asked by CHP to locate three subjects seen running from an overturned vehicle on 101 at Sierra Point Parkway. An officer located 4 subjects matching the description given. When the officer approached, two subjects ran and the other two approached the officer then ran. Neighboring agencies responded and a search was conducted with negative results. CHP needed no further assistance. Case taken for information only. Report #14-1228-002.
On 12/27 at 1112 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a driver known to have a suspended driver?s license. The suspension was confirmed, the driver was cited and the vehicle was towed from the scene. Case closed. Report #14-1227-001.
On 12/26 at 1445 hours, two unknown suspects entered a home while the homeowner was inside. The suspects pushed the homeowner into the bathroom and closed the door. The suspects then took computer equipment, camera equipment and a watch. The estimated total loss is $6187. This case is still under investigation. Report #14-1226-001.
Possession Controlled Substance for Sales
On 12/25 at 2206 hours, an officer attempted to contact two subjects leaving a residence. One subject was seen dropping something on the ground prior to contacting the officer. It was later determined the subject dropped 8 individually wrapped baggies containing methamphetamine weighing approximately 11 grams. The subject was taken into custody and transported to San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-1225-001.
On 10/24 at 1502 hours, officers responded to a report of a light pole that had been struck and knocked over. There is no suspect information at this time. The incident occurred at an unknown date and time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #14-1224-002.
Under the Influence Controlled Substance
On 12/23 at 0022 hours, an officer made contact with a group of people standing on the corner. One of the subjects was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. The subject was taken into custody and transported to San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-1223-001.
Under the Influence Controlled Substance
On 12/23 at 0137 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop. During contacted with the driver, the officer noticed objective signs of being under the influence. The driver was evaluated and found to be under the influence. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-1223-002.
On 12/23, officers responded to a welfare check of a disoriented subject. The subject was found covered in mud and confused. The subject was also unable to tell officers what she was doing in the area. It was determined the subject was unable to care for herself and placed on a 72 hour hold and transported to the hospital for evaluation. Case closed. Report #14-1223-003.
On 12/23 at 1124 hours, two juveniles entered a business and took a wallet from a desk without permission. There were no witnesses but and the incident was captured on video. No purchases were made on the victim?s credit cards and the estimated cost of the wallet is $6. This case has been suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #14-1223-004.
On 12/23 at 1246 hours, an unknown suspect walked into a business and walked out with a case of cigarettes valued at $1,612. The suspect walked out of the store and when approached by a customer the suspect waved what appeared to be a gun in the direction of the customer. A county wide alert was released for the suspect and vehicle. This case is still under investigation. Report #14-1223-005.
Sometime between 12/19 an 12/20, an unknown suspect(s) took the rear license plate off of the victim?s vehicle without permission. There is no suspect information at this time. Report #14-1223-006.
Between 12/22/14 at 1800 hours to 12/23/14 at 0700 hours, unknown suspect(s) damaged the rear window to the business located at 100 W. Hill Dr. The suspect(s) used an unknown object to shatter the window. The window is valued at approximately $300. There is no suspect information. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #14-1223-007.
Under the Influence Controlled Substance
On 12/23 at 1941 hours, officers contacted a subject on a bicycle for a traffic violation. While speaking with the subject, officers noted objective signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The subject was evaluated and found to be under the influence. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. #14-1223-008.
On 12/22 at 1714 hours, a rock was thrown at the rear window of vehicle that the owner was sitting in. The owner of the vehicle did not see who threw the rock. Two children were seen running up the stairs of a home nearby. The children were questioned but denied throwing the rock. Case suspended pending investigative leads. Report #14-1222-003.
Driving Under the Influence
On 12/21 at 0321 hours, an officer was flagged down and told that a vehicle had spun out and was now stuck in the mud. The officer arrived on scene and after investigating the officer determined the driver had been driving under the influence of alcohol. The subject was taken into custody and transported to a sobering facility. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-1221-001.
On 12/21 at 2003 hours, officers responded to a welfare check on a suicidal subject. Upon arrival the subject?s roommate stated she had been making comments about killing herself. Officers determined the subject was also not taking her prescription medication and she was found to be a danger to herself. The subject was transported to the hospital. Case closed. Report #14-1221-002.
On 12/21 at 2218 hours, an officer contacted a group of subjects in the Brisbane Marina parking lot. One of the subjects, was found to be in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. The 17 year subject was cited at the scene and picked up by his parents. Case closed and forwarded to Hillcrest Juvenile Facility for review. Report #14-1221-003.
On 12/20 at 2115 hours, officers found a cut fence on a lot. The lot was searched but nothing suspicious was found inside. On 12/21 at 0705 hours, workers at the business next door found that unknown suspect(s) had made entry into their building and had taken approximately $15,000 worth of tools. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #14-1220-003.
On 12/20 officers contacted a subject known to be on probation with search and seizure. The subject attempted to pull away and was placed in handcuffs. The search was conducted and the subject was found to be in compliance with the terms of his probation. Report taken for information only. Report #14-1220-001.
On 12/20 at 2116 hours, an officer contacted a subject near the roadway. When the officer approached, the subject stated if the officer touched her she would kill herself. The subject went on to state she wanted to harm herself. The subject was transported to the hospital and placed on a 72 hour hold. Case closed. Report #14-1220-002.
Sometime between 11/20 and 12/18, 48 portable radios were taken without permission from a storeroom of the business. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #14-1219-001.
On 12/19 at approximately 0430 hours, an unknown suspect(s) took a license plate off a vehicle without permission. There is no suspect(s) information at this time. The stolen license plate was entered into the Stolen Vehicle System. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #14-1219-002.
On 12/19 a city worker found California ID card and SF State ID card. An attempt was made to contact the owner but the owner could not be contacted. The ID?s were booking into safekeeping. Report #14-1219-003.
On 12/19 at 1738 hours, officers conducted a welfare check on a subject who made suicidal threats to his wife. Upon contact it was revealed the subject attempted to cut himself with a piece of glass. The subject was transported to the hospital and placed on a 72 hours hold. Case closed. Report #14-1219-004.
Domestic Related Incident
On 12/17 at 0156 hours, officers responded to a disturbance between a husband and wife. The verbal dispute started when the husband hid the wife?s iPad and would not give it back. The couple is currently in the process of getting divorced and still living together. Domestic counselors were advised and a case was taken for information only. Report #14-1217-001.
Possession of Paraphernalia
On 12/14 at 0837 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. While contacting the subjects in the vehicle the officer noticed a glass pipe used to smoke controlled substances in plain view on the back seat. The driver was questioned and cited and released from the scene. Case taken to be forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office for review. Report #14-1217-002.
Possession/Transportation Controlled Substance
On 12/14 at 0045 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle facing the wrong direction. Upon investigation it was revealed the two occupants were in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and paraphernalia. Both subjects were taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail for booking. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-1214-001.
Child Abuse Investigation
On 12/12, the Brisbane Police Department assisted Child Protective Services in conducting an investigation into an alleged child abuse case. After completion of the interview and investigation it was determined there was no merit to the allegation. Case taken for informational purposes only. Report #14-01212-001.
At 2058 hours, officer responded to a welfare check of a woman attempting to cross Bayshore Blvd. Upon contact it was determined the woman was intoxicated to the point that she was unable to care for her own safety. The woman was arrested and booked into the San Mateo Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-1212-002.
The reporting party advised that he had lost his wallet sometime between 1300-1700 hours at an unknown location. No fraudulent activity had occurred. This case was taken for informational purposes. Report #14-1209-002.
At 1705 hours, an officer responded to a welfare check of a subject seen slumped over the wheel of his vehicle. It was later determined the subject had a medical episode while driving. Report to be forwarded to DMV for retest of driver. Report #14-1209-003.
On 12/9 at 1927 hours, officers responded to a fraud call. The victim?s reported that 4 phone lines were fraudulently opened in their name. The phone company was called and asked that a police report be taken to assist in removing the victims from any financial ties. This case has been suspended and will be handled by the phone company. Battery on Spouse/Child Cruelty
On 12/9 at 2045 hours, officers responded to a 911 hang up. Upon arrival officers discovered an ongoing dispute between husband and wife. Upon further investigation it was revealed the wife had struck her husband a number of times in front of their children. The wife was arrested and transported to the San Mateo County Jail and booked. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-1209-005.
Sometime between 12/5 and 12/6, an unknown subject vandalized the reporting party?s vehicle and left $200 and a note behind without contact information. The cost to repair the damage is unknown at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #14-1208-001.
At 2359 hours, officer responded to a welfare check of a woman walking on Tunnel Ave. Upon contact it was determined the woman was intoxicated to the point that she was unable to care for her own safety. The woman was arrested and booked into the San Mateo Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-1207-001.
At 1507 hours, officers observed a suspicious male subject in the parking lot. Upon contact the subject showed signs of alcohol intoxication and became combative with officers. It was later determined the subject had medical needs and had not been taking his medication. The subject was placed on a 72 psychiatric hold. Case closed. Report #14-1207-002.
At 2311 hours, officers contacted the occupants of a suspicious vehicle. A records check revealed one subject had several outstanding warrants. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail and booked for the warrants. Case closed by arrest. Report # 14-1207-003.
Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
At 0122 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. Upon further investigation it was determined the driver had been driving under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-1206-001.
Between 0930 and 1930 hours, an unknown suspect(s) broke the victim?s window by throwing a rock through it. The cost to replace the window is approximately $200. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #14-1205-001.
At 0157 hours, officers responded to an alarm call at the train station. While on scene, officers noticed a suspicious person. Upon contact it was determined the subject had several outstanding warrants and in possession of methamphetamine and a cane sword. The subject was taken into custody and booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-1204-001.
Between 12/3 and 12/4 an unknown suspect(s) entered a backyard and took steel ramps and an electric snake drain without permission. There is no suspect information at this time. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #14-1204-002.
Sometime between 11/28 and 11/30 an unknown suspect(s) vandalized two windows of a building. Two BB?s were found in the area. The cost to repair the windows is approximately $1540. Case suspended pending further suspect information. Report #14-1202-001.
At 1245 hours, officers contacted several subjects in a suspicious vehicle. During a vehicle search marijuana was found. The driver of the vehicle was cited and released from the scene. Case to be forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office for review. Report #14-1201-001.
Sometime between 11/12 and 11/17 a gas card was found to be missing. It was later found that the card had been used numerous times in San Francisco without permission. This case has been closed due to it not being committed in Brisbane and has been forwarded to SFPD for further investigation. Report #14-1201-002.
