Report for November 1, 2013 - November 26, 2013
On 11-03-13 between 1500 and 1534 hours an unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger window of the victim?s vehicle and took a bag of clothes and a broken laptop computer. The total loss and damage was estimated at $175.00. There is no suspect information at this time. Report #13-1103-0001.
Lost or Stolen License Plate
The reporting party advised that some time between 10-25-13 at 1330 hours and 11-01-13 at 0800 hours, his front license plate was lost or stolen in Millbrae, San Bruno, Daly City, Brisbane or somewhere in between. Report #13-1101-0001.
On 11-02-13 at approximately 1356 hours a subject confronted the victim inside a convenience store and a fight ensued. The victim alleges that the other subject struck her in the left eye with her right hand without provocation. The victim complained of pain to her head, body and an abrasion to her left eye. The victim declined to sign a private person?s arrest Form. Video surveillance was reviewed and upon further investigation the report was forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office. Officer responded to report of a suicidal subject. Officers contacted the subject and determined that the subject did not meet the criteria for a 5150 hold. A records check of the subject revealed that he had been reported missing out of San Francisco, CA. The subjects eventually decided to voluntarily self-admit himself to seek psychiatric help and was transported to the hospital by AMR. The subject was removed from the missing persons data base. While on patrol, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle which displayed registration that was expired over 6 months. The vehicle was towed under towing authority 22651 (O) CVC- Expired registration over six months. Report #13-1123-0001.
While checking on a parked vehicle parked in a handicap stall, the officer smelled the odor of marijuana. A subsequent investigation discovered the subjects were in possession of the marijuana illegally. A subject in the vehicle was cited for possession of marijuana. Report #13-1129-0001
On 11-22-13 sometime between 1000-2148 hours the reporting party?s rear license plate had been lost or stolen. He noticed the license plate missing when he returned to his home in Brisbane. The replacement cost is approximately $20.00. There is no suspect information at this time. Report #13-1122-0002.
The reporting party advised that between 1720 and 1842 hours, an unknown subject broke out the passenger side window of the victim?s vehicle, reached into the vehicle and took his business check register. No other items were taken from the vehicle. This case is on going. Report #13-1126-0002.
Unknown suspect used a sharp object to slash the right rear tire of the victim?s vehicle. The victim replaced the tire and then within a day two more tires were slashed. The estimated cost to repair the tires was $480.00. The investigation is on going. Report #13-1119-0002.
Unknown suspect(s) vandalized the right side of the victim?s vehicle with a sharp object causing a large scratch. The estimated cost to repair the damage was $1200.00. There is no suspect information at this time. Report #13-1019-0003.
A vehicle that was previously reported stolen out of the San Francisco Police Department was located and taken out of the Stolen Vehicle System. Another vehicle?s stolen license plate was attached to the vehicle and recovered as well. The registered owner of the vehicle was notified and the vehicle was towed from the scene. There is no suspect information at this time. Report #13-1122-0002.
A subject was placed on a 72 hour psychiatric hold after threatening to kill herself and the police. The subject was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Report #13-1118-0002.
A subject was placed on a 72 hour psychiatric hold after acting irrational and violent towards his mother. The subject also fled from police but was eventually detained. The subject was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Report #13-1119-0001.
The reporting party advised that between 11-17-13 and 11-21-13, an unknown subject boarded his boat and took two marine batteries and a telescoping hook. The estimated loss is $690.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #13-1121-0001.
The reporting party states that she has not seen or heard from her boy friend in a few days. The reporting party states that he does this from time to time but is worried because he frequents bad neighborhoods in San Francisco. The subject was entered into the Missing Unidentified Person?s system as a voluntary missing adult. Report #13-1116-0001.
Two transient subjects that had been previously admonished on multiple separate occasions upon penalty of arrest to remove their camp site, were found on the property several days later. Both subjects were arrested and transported to county Jail where they were booked. Report #13-1118-0001.
Unknown subjects entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a backpack. The value of the backpack is estimated at $40.00. There is no suspect information at this time. Report #13-1118-0003.
The reporting party advised that an unknown male caller called her on the phone and advised that her Medi-Care card was about to expire and asked for her bank account number. The reporting party refused and hung up on the caller. There is no suspect information at this time. Report #13-1112-0003.
A subject was placed on a 72 hour psychiatric hold after making statements to his mother that he wanted to cut his throat and walk on the railroad tracks. The subject was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Report #13-1115-0003.
Restraining Order Violation
A subject was found to have been in violation of a restraining order. The subject was arrested and transported to the County Jail. Report #13-1112-0001.
A vehicle that was previously reported stolen out of the Vallejo Police Department was located and taken out of the Stolen Vehicle System. The registered owner was notified and the vehicle was towed from the scene. There is no suspect information at this time. Report #13-1112-0002.
Subsequent to an investigative stop two subjects were found to have taken fold up chairs from another vehicle without the owner?s permission. The subjects placed the chairs in their car and attempted to drive away. The driver was determined to have been driving under the influence. The driver was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and booked into the County Jail. The other subject was cited for petty theft and released. Report #13-1110-0002.
A missing person who was reported missing to the San Francisco Police Department returned home. The subject was removed from the Missing Unidentified Person System. Report #13-1108-0001.
A motorcycle that was reported stolen to the San Francisco Police Department was recovered unoccupied in a rear parking lot of an establishment. The vehicle was removed from the Stolen Vehicle System. There is no suspect information at this time. Report #13-1109-0003.
Confiscated License Plates
A vehicle was found to have the wrong license plated affixed to the vehicle. The license plates appear to have been issued by mistake. The owner was notified and the license plates were confiscated and sent back to the DMV. Report #13-1109-0002
A subject who was caught on tape earlier this month stealing coffee was admonished and warned not to return. The subject reentered the establishment later on that week. The subject left after being confronted by staff and prior to police arrival. This case is being forwarded to the District Attorneys Office for review. Report #13-1110-0001.
A subject was struck by a friend after she informed the friend that his dog was struck by a vehicle and killed. No injuries were sustained and the victim did not did not want any police action taken. Report taken for information only. Report #13-1106-0005.
Minor in Possession of Cigarette.
On 11-03-13 at approximately 2004 hours a juvenile was contacted and found to be in possession of a cigarette and two lighters. The subject was detained, cited, and released to his mother. Report #13-1103-001.
Non Injury Accident/ Property Damage Only
A subject backed his truck into a light pole causing major damage to the pole and minor damage to his truck. No one was injured during the collision. Report #13-1106-0002.
On 11-06-13 at approximately 2208 hours a boyfriend and girlfriend were involved in a verbal argument. Both parties were unhurt and showed no visible injuries. Both claimed that it was all verbal and there was no physical altercation. Report taken for information. Report #13-1006-0004.
The reporting party advised that on 9-26-13 and 10-18-13, an unknown subject used the victim?s credit card to make two online purchases totaling $455.99. The victim was told by the online retailer that she would be able to request more detailed information if she provided a police report. This case is on going. Case #13-1106-001.
Subsequent to a records check a subject who was known to the officer came back with an in county warrant. The warrant was confirmed and the suspect was arrested. The subject was also found to be in possession of a usable amount of methamphetamine. The subject was arrested for the warrant and possession of methamphetamine and booked into county jail. Report #13-1105-002.
