On 08-01-13 between 2120 hours and 2139 hours, an unknown suspect(s) smashed the front passenger vehicle of the victim?s vehicle which was parked on the side of the roadway. The suspect(s) took a backpack containing miscellaneous items. The total estimated cost of the damage and taken items was $270.00. There is no suspect information at this time. Report #13-0801-0001.
On 06-05-13 and 06-06-13 a subject used the victim?s personal checking account to fraudulently pay his/her PG&E bill. The subject(s) also attempted to cash a check for $250.00. No money was lost as the victims account was already over drawn. The identification of the suspect(s) is still pending further information. Report #13-0802-0001.
A vehicle that was previously cited for expired registration over 6 months was still parked at the same public portion of the road the next day. The vehicle was towed. Report #13-086-0001.
Challenge to Fight in Public
On 08-30-13 at 1930 hours, a juvenile subject approached another juvenile and challenged her to a fight. The incident never became physical. Report# 13-0830-0001.
Between 08-28-13 at 1600 hours and 08-29-13 at 0830 hours, an unknown suspect(s) damaged the victim?s parked vehicle by scratching the entire left side. There is no suspect information at this time. Report# 13-0831-0001.
A vehicle that was previously marked with a 72 hour notice and other markings was determined to still be parked and unmoved. Multiple attempts to contact the registered owner met with negative results. The vehicle was towed. Report #13-0808-0001.
Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor
During the past year a father allegedly allowed his 13 year old son to watch adult pornography movies to hurt his wife. During verbal arguments with his wife the subject would purposely put on pornography movies in order to hurt or harass his wife. The investigation is ongoing. Report# 13-0827-0001.
On 08-27-13 at 1430 hours, an unknown suspect(s) presented himself as a PG&E worker over the phone and fraudulently convinced the victim to pay him $300.00. There is no suspect information at this time. Report# 13-0828-0002.
On 06-27-13 at 1800 hours, a citizen found a bicycle along the side of her residence. The citizen turned it over to police after contemplating that it may have been reported stolen. The bike was clear in the system and was taken as found property. Report# 13-0827-0004.
On 08-27-13 a citizen found an iphone along the side of her residence. The citizen turned it over to police. The iphone locked and no contact information was located. The phone was clear from the system. A victim from a prior theft this month will be contacted for a possible match on the missing iphone. Report#13-0827-0003.
Property Turned Over for Destruction
A Citizen turned over a firearm, stun gun and police baton over for destruction. The items were clear from the system and booked into the Brisbane Police Department for destruction. Report #13-0826-0002.
On 08-26-13 between 0320 and 1454 hours, an unknown suspect(s) took a television from a guestroom. There is no suspect information at this. Report #13-0826-0004.
BMC Violation/Discharge of Firearm
On 08-25-13 at 1449 hours a subject was contacted after discharging his .22 caliber rifle in the San Bruno Mountain area. Subject was contacted and the scene rendered safe. The subject?s rifle and ammunition were confiscated and the subject was issued a promise to appear and then released from the scene. A report was taken and forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office for review and charges to be filed against the subject. Report #13-0825-0001.
On 08-23-13 at 1848 hours, a subject knocked down a stop sign with her vehicle and then left the scene without making any attempt to contact the police or a responsible party. The subject was later contacted and admitted to hitting the sign. This case was forwarded to the district attorneys office for review and charges to be filed for hit and run. Report #13-0823-0001.
On 08-24-13 at approximately 2245 hours, a stolen vehicle was recovered. No suspect(s) were in the area and the vehicle was released to the victim and removed from the Stolen Vehicle System. Report #13-0824-0001.
On 08-19-13 at approximately 1555 hours, a stolen vehicle was recovered. No suspect(s) were in the area and the vehicle was released to the victim and removed from the Stolen Vehicle System. Report #13-0819-0002.
Adult Protective Services Referral
On 08-22-13 an elderly subject was found in her home feeling confused and in need of medical attention. Medics responded and the subject was voluntarily transported to Peninsula Medical Center for evaluation. Adult Protective Services was notified of the subject?s medical needs and the unsafe condition of her home. Report 13-0822-0001.
Non-injury Traffic Collision
On 08-23-13 at 1921 hours, a bicyclist rode his bicycle into the side of a vehicle causing minor damage to the vehicle. No injuries were sustained to either party. Report #13-0823-0002.
During the deployment of San Mateo County Gang Task Force a subject was contacted during the course of a bicycle stop. A record?s check revealed that the subject had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed. Subject was arrested and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Report #13-0802-0004.
Non-injury Traffic Collision
On 08/18/13 at 1218 hours, while the traffic light was changing from yellow to red, one party made a sudden lane change in front of the other party?s vehicle causing a collision and damage to both vehicles. Report #13-0818-0002.
On 08-18-13 at approximately 2328 hours, a stolen vehicle was recovered. No suspect(s) were in the area and the vehicle was released towed from the scene and removed from the Stolen Vehicle System. Report #13-0819-0001.
On 08-15-13 at 1417 hours, a subject was contacted during the course of a traffic stop. A records check revealed that the subject had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed. The subject was arrested and transported to county jail where he was booked. Report 13-0818-0003.
Annoying Electronic Communication
On 08-18-13 the reporting party was the subject of an online forum in which another member started to disclose the reporting party?s prior arrest record. The disclosure would damage the reporting party?s reputation. The suspect reportedly resides somewhere in Dallas Texas. The reporting party is currently staying at a hotel in Brisbane. A report was taken and forwarded to Dallas PD for a review of possible violation of Texas laws. Report 13-0815-0002.
On 08-17-13 at 1313 hours, subsequent to a verbal argument a mother grabbed her adult daughter by the hair and slapped her. The daughter sustained scratches to the face and signed a Citizens Arrest Affidavit against the mother. The mother was cited and released. Report 13-0817-0002
Danger to Self and Others
On 08-17-13 at 0324 hours, subsequent to a suspicious vehicle call a shirtless subject with self inflicted puncture wounds to the belly was contacted. The subject was distraught over family issues and claimed he wanted to die. The subject was treated for his wounds by paramedics and transported to SF General for a 72 hours psychiatric evaluation. BMC Violation/Prohibited Night Time Operations
Subject was contacted at this location and found to be in violation of prohibited night time operations per the Brisbane Municipal Code. A report was taken and forwarded to the City of Brisbane Code Enforcement Division for review. Report #13-0815-0001.
Between 8-14-13 at 1700 hours and 08-15-13 at 2013 hours an unknown suspect(s) entered the portable class room and took a messenger bag containing ?Emergency Cards? containing personal information for students and their parents and/or guardians. The bag was located but the cards are still outstanding. Report #13-0816-0001.
Driving With a Suspended License
On 08-13-13 at 1745 hours, subsequent to a traffic stop the driver was determined to be driving on a suspended license. The driver was cited and released. Repot# 13-0813-0002.
On 08-13-13 a citizen came in to ride-a-long with a police officer. Report #13-0813-0001.
Incident to an unrelated traffic stop a known parolee was contacted by police. A records check revealed several warrants for the subjects arrest. The warrants were confirmed and the subject arrested. The subject was transported to county jail where he was booked. Report #13-0814-000.
On 08-14-13 at 1345 hours, a citizen turned in sunglasses found at the Community Park. The property was booked for safe keeping. Report #13-0814-0002.
On 08-12-13 at 1402 hours, a subject called for advice on an unrelated case. A records check revealed that she was reported as a missing person out of a different police department since 2110. The subject advised that she was reported missing but came home the next day and had not been taken out of the system by the originating agency. The subject was taken out of the system. Report#13-0812-0004.
Illegal Dumping of Waste Matter
On 08-12-13 at 1530 hours a subject defecated on the pathway in front of this location. This case was forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office for review and prosecution. Report #13-0812-0005.
On 08-11-13 at 2347 hours, subsequent to traffic stop and field sobriety tests the driver was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol. The subject was cited and turned over to First Chance. Report #13-0812-0001.
Sometime between 07-30-13 at 1700 hours and 07-31-13 an unknown suspect(s) accessed a gated storage area and took an am/fm transistor radio and $4.00 in change. The suspect(s) also attempted to take a bicycle, but left it behind. The approximate loss is $10.00. There is no suspect information. Report #13-0802-0002.
On 08-11-13 at 0303 hours, unknown suspects forced entry into the business. There was nothing taken and there is no suspect information at this time. Report #13-0811-0001.
On 7/10/13 between 1100-1320 hours, unknown suspect(s) broke into the victim?s locked vehicle and took a backpack containing a laptop, tablet, and other miscellaneous items. There is no suspect information at this time. Repot #13-0710-0003
On 08-10-13 at 2006 hours the victim?s dog was bitten by another dog. The victim?s dog sustained a minor cut to its belly and an unknown leg injury. The suspect?s dog was off leash. The suspect was issued an administrative citation and the report was forwarded to the San Mateo County SPCA for review. Report #13-0810-0001.
The victim reports that a subject that was not supposed to be at the establishment was there and refusing to leave. The subject left prior to police arrival but was located and contacted at a different location. At the time, the subject claimed that he did not know that he was not allowed at the establishment and was admonished. It was later determined that the subject was previously advised by officers not to return to that establishment. This case was submitted to the District Attorney?s office for review for charges of trespassing. Report # 13-0803-0001.
On 08-05-13 at approximately 1435 hours, a stolen vehicle was recovered. No suspect(s) were in the area and the vehicle was released to the victim and removed from the Stolen Vehicle System. Report #13-0805-0002.
On 08-05-13 at approximately 1758 hours police units were dispatched to this location of a known subject covered in blood. The subject was not found during the area check. The subjects Grandmother was contacted on 08-06-13 and stated that the subject had been involved in a physical altercation with another subject. The subject was contacted but denied being involved in an altercation and claimed that he fell off his skateboard. Report #13-0805-0003.
On 08-09-13 at 0200 hours the reporting party?s iphone went missing. The reporting party suspected a known subject to have taken the iphone. The subject was later contacted and denied any knowledge of the missing phone. A subsequent consent search of the subject?s property came back with negative results. Case #13-0809-0001
The victim/business reported to police that on 07-24-13 at approximately 1138 hours the suspect made a fraudulent purchase of lumber totaling $7,237.93 via telephone using a stolen credit card number. The lumber was picked up by another subject. Neither party?s identification can be confirmed. The true owner of the credit card has received a refund and the Victim incurred the loss as a result of the fraudulent transaction. Report # 13-0802-003.
