An officer marked a reported abandoned vehicle on 5/2/13 after a citizen complaint. A warning sticker was placed on the vehicle indicating it was subject to tow if not moved in 72 hours. The vehicle was still at the same location on 5/6/13 after having not been moved during the listed period. The vehicle was towed per 22651(k) CVC; 72 hour abandoned vehicle. Report # 13-0506-0002.

The victim reported to police that sometime between 2/14-5/1, unknown suspect(s) stole miscellaneous tools from an unsecured area of the property. The approximately loss is estimated to be $950. Report taken and suspended pending further leads. Report # 13-0501-0003.
Child Protective Services forwarded a report to the police department regarding a juvenile making references to being dead. A welfare check was conducted and the juvenile and he made no indications he wanted to harm himself. Report taken. Report # 13-0501-0004.
The victim reported to police her boyfriend were engaged in a verbal argument that escalated. The boyfriend slapped the victim in the face. The boyfriend fled prior to police arrival. The following day, the boyfriend spoke to police regarding the incident. After further investigation, it was determined both parties were mutually involved in the altercation and a primary aggressor could not be determined. The case was suspended as the altercation was mutual between both parties. Report # 13-0531-0002.
An officer located a vehicle parked on a public roadway with expired registration as of 7/12. The vehicle was confirmed as expired and was towed pursuant to 22651(o) CVC; vehicle parked on a public roadway expired over 6 months. The vehicle was towed and report taken. Report # 13-0503-0001.
The victim reported locating her stolen vehicle abandoned at the 3000 block of Bayshore Blvd. The vehicle was stolen out of Daly City the previous night. The vehicle was processed for evidence and then released to the victim. Report taken. Report # 13-0501-0002.
Child Protective Services sent a report to the Brisbane Police Department regarding an allegation of child abuse that occurred in several cities including Brisbane. A report was taken and the allegation is still currently under investigation. Report # 13-0531-0001.
Vandalism ? Property Damage
The victim reported to police that sometime between 4/30-5/1, unknown suspect(s) smashed the rear window to his vehicle with a rock. The estimated cost to repair the window is approximately $200. Report taken and case suspended pending further leads. Report #13-0501-0001.
Vandalism ? Property Damage
The victim reported to police that on 5/26, sometime between 0200-0900 hours, unknown suspect(s) scratched the right side of the victim?s vehicle. One of the tires was also flattened. The cost to repair the damage is unknown. Case suspended pending further leads. Report #13-0527-0001.
Vandalism ? Property Damage.
The victim reported to police that sometime between 5/22-5/23, unknown suspect(s) damaged his vehicle. The suspect(s) sprayed the vehicle with an unknown adhesive type substance and caused $50 in damages. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 13-0527-0002.
The victim notified officers that he was involved in a physical altercation at a local bar. He sustained injuries during the altercation and eventually sought treatment at a local hospital which was when he notified police. The victim was allegedly punched after some name calling with the unidentified suspect. The victim could only provide a limited description. The bar was checked for witnesses, but no one claimed to have witnessed the altercation. Case suspended pending additional suspect identification or leads. Report #13-0530-0001.
A Brisbane Officer was working as part of the San Mateo County Gang Task Force. The officer conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation on a bicyclist in East Palo Alto. It was discovered the bicyclist had a warrant for his arrest. The bicyclist was arrested and taken to the San Mateo County Jail. Report #13-0524-0003.
Vandalism ? Property Damage
The victim reported to police that sometime between 5/25-5/26, unknown suspect(s) damaged the victim?s vehicle by scratching the rear bumper with an unknown object. The cost to repair the damage is estimated to be over $400. Case suspended pending further leads. Report #13-0526-0001.
A citizen complained to police of an abandoned vehicle in their parking lot. An officer responded and checked the registration on the vehicle, which indicated it was stolen from Daly City. The steering wheel had been removed and other miscellaneous parts. Report # 13-0524-0001
Vandalism ? Property Damage
Officers went to retrieve a patrol vehicle that was parked in the area as a crime deterrent. An officer noticed that there was damaged to the side of the vehicle consistent with being shot with a pellet. Two dents were made in the vehicle. Case suspended pending further leads. Report #13-0524-0002.
A citizen found some banking information contained in a book at the library. The information was turned over to police as found property. Report #13-0522-0002.
A citizen reported to police of an abandoned vehicle parked in the area. When officers conducted a registration check on the vehicle, it was determined to have been stolen from Daly City. The vehicle was towed as it is not drivable in its present condition. Report # 13-0523-0001.
The victim reported to police that she got in to a physical confrontation with her ex-boyfriend. The confrontation resulted from an argument over the suspect moving out of the residence. The victim sustained a visible injury to her arm. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. A report was taken and will be forwarded to the San Mateo County District Attorney?s Office for criminal prosecution. Report # 13-0523-0002.
The victim reported to police that on 5/22, between the hours of 1230-1235, unknown suspect(s) took miscellaneous items from the unsecured trunk of her vehicle. The items included shoes, gym bag, clothing, and purse. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 13-0522-0001.
A citizen turned over a set of keys found at the Brisbane Skate Park. The keys were logged at the police department as found property. Report #13-0521-0003.
Officers were dispatched to a disturbance regarding a subject refusing to pay his cab fare. The taxi cab driver did not want to pursue the matter further. The suspect was contacted and identified as a reported missing person. The subject was removed from the Missing/Unidentified Person System and transported to a shelter. Report # 13-0521-0001.
An employee reported to police that he discovered a vehicle that was broken into in their parking lot. An officer responded and discovered that sometime between 5/20-5/21, unknown suspect(s) smashed the rear passenger window to the vehicle to reach inside and remove unknown items. A backpack was located nearby and believed to have come from the vehicle. The victim was not available to verify if any other items are missing. Investigation ongoing. Report # 13-0521-0002.
The victim reported to police that sometime during the past month, her front license plate was lost or stolen from an unknown location. The license plate was then used on another vehicle, which later received a traffic citation for running a red light. Investigation ongoing. Report # 13-0518-0001.
A Brisbane officer assigned to the San Mateo County Gang Task Force assisted another agency during a gang investigation. The officer located a loaded handgun near a driveway. The handgun was turned over to the primary investigating officer. Report # 13-0518-0002.
The victim reported to police that sometime between 5/17-5/19, an unknown suspect(s) punctured the left tires of the victim?s vehicle. The damage is estimated to cost around $300. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 13-0519-0001.
The victim reported to police that sometime between 5/19-5/20, someone had taken the rear license plate from their vehicle. The license plate was entered into the stolen vehicle system. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 13-0520-0001.
Petty Theft/Resisting Arrest
A Brisbane sergeant observed a subject take a bicycle from the area without the owner?s permission. After the sergeant told the subject to put it back, the subject fled the area with the bike. The subject was caught and taken into custody after some resistance. He was arrested and booked at the San Mateo County Jail. Report # 13-0517-0004.
The reporting party informed police that her husband attempted to cut his wrists using a razor blade. The husband was not home and was not located. An informational report was taken and officers will continue to look out for the subject. Report # 13-0517-0003.
Identity Theft/Courtesy Report
The victim reported to police that a subject used the company?s tax ID number to obtain services from Verizon Wireless without their permission. A possible suspect was identified. A courtesy report was taken and will be forwarded to Culver City PD. Report # 13-0517-0002.
Runaway Juvenile/Probation Violation
The reporting party wanted to report his juvenile daughter as a runaway. Police are familiar with the juvenile and has ran away from home numerous times in the past. The juvenile is also on probation. The juvenile was entered into the Missing Persons System. Report taken and also forwarded to Juvenile Probation. Investigation ongoing. Report # 13-0517-0001.
Officers were dispatched to assist in a vehicle accident. Upon further investigation, it was determined a driver had accidental accelerated their vehicle forward into a building Report # 13-0514-0001.
The victim reported to police that sometime between 5/15-5/16, unknown suspect(s) entered the business via an unsecured window and stole a computer. The suspect(s) also pried a filing cabinet. The combined damage and loss is estimated to be approximately $545. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 13-0516-0001.
An officer responded to a complaint of an abandoned vehicle. When the vehicle was checked, it was determined to have been stolen out of San Bruno. The vehicle was recovered and then towed from the scene. Report # 13-0513-0001.

A complaint was submitted to the Brisbane Police Department regarding a truck with expired registration and no one in the area claiming the vehicle. An officer responded and conducted a registration check. The vehicle was expired as of 10/12. A complaint was submitted to the Brisbane Police Department regarding a boat on a trailer with no visible registration information. An officer responded and conducted a registration check. The trailer was expired as of 6/11. The trailer and boat were towed pursuant to 22651(o)(1) CVC; vehicle parked on public land with registration expired over 6 months. Report # 13-0529-0002.
The victim reported to police that she discovered someone applied and received a change of address using the victim?s information. In addition, 2 credit cards were applied for using the victim?s information and a false address. Case suspended. Report # 13-0510-0001.
An officer marked a vehicle as abandoned on 5/9 after receiving a citizen complaint. On 5/13, the officer checked on the vehicle and found it to be parked in the same location and has not been lawfully driven. The vehicle was towed per 22651(k) CVC.
Minor Injury Accident / DUI
Officers were dispatched to a report of an accident. Upon arrival, it was determined one of the drivers attempted to make an illegal u-turn and collided with a truck. The truck driver received minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The other driver was determined to be at fault and was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested. The victim reported to police that on 5/4, an unknown person hit his parked vehicle. The suspect then left the area without providing his or her personal information to the victim. Report taken and case suspended pending further leads. Report # 13-0506-0003.
A two vehicle collision occurred in the area when one vehicle rear-ended the other. One of the drivers had complaint of pain but declined medical attention. Report taken. Report # 13-0507-0002.
An officer located a vehicle parked in a public roadway displaying expired registration. The registration was expired as of 4/30/12. The vehicle was towed pursuant to 22651(o) CVC; vehicle parked on a public roadway with registration expired over 6 months. Report #13-0514-0002.
Police responded with medics to a report of an unresponsive male at an apartment complex. Medics attempted to resuscitate the subject without success. Medics pronounced the subject deceased. There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and the body was released to family members. Report taken. Report # 13-0505-0002.
A Taxi driver reported to police that he dropped off a rider in the area that did not pay for services rendered. The suspect was located and placed under citizen?s arrest for failing to pay the driver. The suspect was cited at the scene and the case will be forwarded to the DA for criminal prosecution. A citizen turned over a passport that she located in Palo Alto. The property is being kept at the Brisbane Police Department as found property. Report # 13-0502-0001.
