An officer located a Chevrolet parked with registration expired as of 2/12. The vehicle was previously issued a citation. The vehicle was towed for expire registration over 6 months. Report taken. Report # 13-0221-0001.
An officer received a complaint of an abandoned vehicle on private property. The officer looked at the vehicle and determined it is in violation BMC 8.20.010. A notice was sent to the owner indicating the vehicle would be towed by the police at the end of 10 days. Report taken. Report # 13-0221-0002
An officer located a Saab at the 500 block of San Bruno Ave. with registration tabs indicating the vehicle was expired as of 12/11. The registration was confirmed as expired and the vehicle was towed for being parked on a public roadway and expired over 6 months. Report taken. Report #13-0213-0001.
An officer located a Mercedes at the 800 block of Humboldt Rd. with registration tabs indicating the vehicle was expired as of 10/10. The registration was confirmed as expired and the vehicle was towed for being parked on a public roadway and expired over 6 months. Report taken. Report #13-0213-0002.
The reporting party notified police that his daughter failed to meet him at the agreed upon time and it is unknown as to where she is staying. She is on juvenile probation and a habitual runaway. A report was taken and the juvenile was listed as a voluntary runaway. Report # 13-0226-0001.
The victim reported to police that sometime between 2/24 to 2/26, unknown suspect(s) took a shotgun and watch from their residence. The items are valued at approximately $5,200. Report taken, investigation ongoing. Report #13-0226-0002.
Possession of stolen property
The victim reported to police that his checks were stolen from his store. During the investigation, it was determined an employee used the missing checks to make purchases at another establishment. The suspect was arrested and admitted to using the forged checks. The suspect was transported to jail. Report taken. Report #13-0228-0001.
Juvenile Probation Violation
A Brisbane officer contacted a juvenile known to be on probation at her residence. The juvenile had a warrant for her arrest. The officer took the juvenile into custody and transported her to juvenile hall. Report taken. Case # 13-0228-0002.
The owner reported to police that he believes someone had stolen one of the nightly deposits to his business valued at approximately $2,000. The owner believes it was an employee, but did not have any evidence at the time. The owner will review his surveillance video and advise police if he locates any evidence. A report was taken and investigation is ongoing. Report # 13-0225-0004.
The reporting party reported to police that she had seen a former employee hiding at the side of her business. The subject was told to leave. When the subject left, the reporting party noticed damage to the side of her wall. It is unknown if the former employee did the damage. A report was taken. Case # 13-0225-0003.
The victim reported to police that sometime between 2/22 to 2/25, unknown suspect(s) entered their locked storage container. The suspect(s) stole various machinery type tools valued at approximately $4,000. Investigation is ongoing, report taken. Report # 13-0225-0001.

The victim reported to police that sometime between 1515-1720 hours, unknown suspect(s) smashed the rear window of the his vehicle. The suspect(s) took a camera and gym bag. There is no suspect information. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 13-023-0001.
American Canyon Police Department requested the assistance of Brisbane PD regarding a domestic violence investigation. They requested officers to check on the welfare of a victim residing in Brisbane. Officer contacted the victim and documented her statement and injuries. A report was taken and forwarded to American Canyon PD. Report # 13-0222-0001.
The reporting party told police that she is receiving harassing/threatening messages from her ex-boyfriend. After further investigation, it was determined there was no information to substantiate the complaint. A case was taken. Report # 13-0220-0002.
The victim reported to police his vehicle was stolen in Oakland. A courtesy report was taken for the stolen vehicle. Report # 13-0219-0001.
Staff reported to police a juvenile made comments to harm herself. The juvenile admitted the comment to police. She was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation. Report # 13-0222-0001.
The victim reported to police that someone broke into his locked trailer between 2/15-2/18. The suspect took tools and other supplies. Report taken. Case # 13-0218-0001.
The reporting party notified police that he was in an argument with his neighbor over debris falling from a tree. The argument escalated to verbal threats at which time police were notified. Situation was mediated and case taken. Report # 13-0202-0002.
The reporting party reported to police that he had lost his wallet in the area. Report taken. Report # 13-0202-0001.
The victim reported to police that sometime between 1100-1500 hours, someone hit his parked company vehicle and did not provide his/her insurance information. Damage to the vehicle was limited to the bumper. The area was checked for evidence and witnesses. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 13-0216-0001.
The reporting party told officers that someone claiming to be a PG&E employee requested to enter her home to check on a gas leak. The reporting party did not believe the subject and pretended to get her husband. The subject then left in a hurry. No crime, report taken. Report # 13-0217-0001.
The wife reported to police that she and her husband were in a verbal argument. After speaking to both parties, it was determined it was only a verbal argument and no crime took place. A report was taken. Case # 13-0216-0002.
The reporting party turned a shotgun and rifle over to police for safekeeping during a cleanup of the property. The firearms were taken and placed into the evidence locker at the police department. Case taken. Report # 13-0215-0001.
The victim reported to police that sometime between 2/10-2/11, someone had taken the rear license plate from one of his parked vehicles without his consent. A report was taken and the license plate was entered into the stolen vehicle system. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 13-0211-0002.
Petty Theft/Credit Card Fraud
The victim reported to police that sometime between 0830-1400 hours, unknown suspect(s) entered her office building and stole items from her purse. The suspect(s) took various credit cards and then used them at several businesses in San Bruno. A follow-up investigation was conducted and a suspect was identified. The suspect was arrested. The reporting party called police to report her husband had taken pills in an attempt to commit suicide. When officers arrived, they determined the subject admitted to consuming sleeping pills. Based on his demeanor, he was determined to pose a danger to himself. The husband was taken to the hospital for medical treatment and mental evaluation. Case taken. Report # 13-0208-0002.
A probation officer called Brisbane Police and requested a juvenile be taken into custody and transported to juvenile for violating her probation. The officers went to the juvenile?s home, took her into custody, and then booked her at juvenile hall. Report taken. Report # 13-0211-0001
The victim reported to police that sometime between 0900-1120, someone had taken a stackable washer/dryer she left in front of her driveway at the 100 block of Lake St. The value of the washer/dryer is estimated at $800. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 13-0208-0001.
CHP located a non-injury accident in the area of Sierra Point Pkwy. and Shoreline Ct. and reported the accident to Brisbane Police. Officers responded to the scene and an investigation was conducted. It was determined the driver was unable to negotiate a curve and was traveling at an unsafe speed, causing the collision with a fence. Case taken. Report # 13-0206-0002.
School staff reported to police a 13 year old juvenile had not returned from lunch and his whereabouts are unknown. Officers were eventually able to get a hold of the juvenile?s mother, who said her son is fine, but would not disclose nor confirm where her son was located. Case taken and school staff advised regarding his truancy. Report #13-0207-0001.
Stolen vehicle/credit card fraud
The victim reported to police that sometime overnight, unknown suspect(s) stole his work van from his driveway. During the investigation, it was discovered the suspect(s) were also making fraudulent charges on the victim?s credit cards that were left in the vehicle. The charges were being made in the San Leandro area. Investigation is on-going. Report # 13-02060-0001.
