On 7/12/12 at 1143 hours, a reporting party advised that a male driver was on S/B101 with a young child on his lap and they had just exited on Sierra Point Parkway. The subject, later identified as the father of the 2 year child, was stopped by responding officers. During the stop it was revealed that the driver did not have a child seat or any child items including diapers, food and water. The father was unaware of the law.
