An officer towed a 2005 white Nissan due to the vehicle having been parked on the public roadway with expired registration in excess of six (6) months. Case closed. Report # 11-1118-0001.
An officer towed a 2000 white Daewoo due to the vehicle having been parked on the public roadway with expired registration in excess of six (6) months. Case closed. Report # 11-1114-0002.
Blocking construction zone
An officer towed a 2007 red Kia for being parked in designated construction zone. All proper notifications were followed. Case closed. Report #11-1116-0001.
While on routine patrol, an officer recognized a subject who has had outstanding warrants in the past. The officer conducted a records check and discovered that the subject had an outstanding warrant for $5,000.00 out of the South San Francisco Police Department for DUI. The subject was arrested and booked into jail without incident. Report #11-1105-001.
The reporting party advised that between 11/06/2011 and 11/07/2011, an unknown subject vandalized the reporting party?s vehicle by making a dent into the rear driver side door. The dent into the door appears to have been done by kicking the door. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1107-0001.
The reporting party advised that while out taking his dog for a walk, his dog began to fight with another dog that was also being walked. In the process of breaking up the dogs, the reporting party was bitten. One of the dogs had an expired rabies certification and was voluntarily quarantined by it car taker. The reporting party advised that she/he was punched in the back by his/her spouse, after they became involved in a verbal argument. After conducting the interviews to both parties, it was determined that there was no merit to the punch. A domestic related incident report was taken for information only. Report #11-1109-0001.
The reporting party advised that sometime between 11/29/11 and 11/30/11, his/her mother passed away during the night time hours. Officers responded and after consulting with the San Mateo County Corner, the subject was determined to have passed away of natural causes. Report #11-1130-0001.
The reporting party advised that on 11/29/2011 between 1600 to 1830 hours, he lost his wallet. After losing his wallet an unknown subject withdrew $200.00 from his back account using the victim?s ATM. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1129-0002.
While on routine patrol, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. After making contact, the officer conducted a warrants check and determined that the driver had a warrant for his arrest. The subject was taken into custody and booked into jail. Report #11-1129-0003.
The reporting party advised that between 11/22/2011 and 11/28/2011, an unknown subject took two bicycles belonging to the reporting party. The estimated loss is $290.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1128-0001.
The reporting parties advised that on 11/22/2011 between 1900 to 2114 hours, their vehicles were broken. An unknown subject smashed glass panels into two vehicles removing valuables in each of the two vehicles. The estimated value to both vehicles is $3,800.00. The reporting party advised that between 11/15/2011 to 11/22/2011, an unknown vehicle struck the driver side of his vehicle while it was parked. After the unknown vehicle struck the parked vehicle it fled the scene. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1123-0001.
The reporting party advised that between 11/21/2011 to 11/22/2011, an unknown subject slashed one of the tires on his/her vehicle. The vehicle was parked on the street. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1123-0002.
The reporting party advised that between 11/22/2011 and 11/23/2011, an unknown subject keyed his/her vehicle while parked on the street. The estimated damages to the vehicle are in excess of $400.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1123-0003.
The reporting party advised that between 11/16/2011 and 11/27/2011, an unknown subject attempted to buy an item he/she was selling on craigslist.com using two (2) fraudulent cashier checks. The reporting party caught on to the scam prior to any loss. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1127-0002.
Parole Violation / No Bail
While on routine patrol, an officer conducted a safety enforcement stop on a bicyclist. A records check revealed the subject to be on active CDC Parole and with a no bail warrant for his arrest. The subject was taken into custody and booked into jail. Report #11-1122-0004.
While officers were in the process of taking a subject into custody, the girlfriend/boyfriend of the subject lied to police officers to the whereabouts of the subject, in attempt to give the subject time to flee. This case has been forwarded to the San Mateo County District Attorney?s Office for prosecution. Report #11-1122-0003.
The reporting party advised that on 11/22/2011 between 1502 to 1509 hours, a male subject entered the office building and took a laptop from a victim?s desk then fled the scene. A video surveillance camera caught the subject enter and exit the building. A county wide bulletin was circulated and it was determined that the suspect also took a laptop from an office in South San Francisco. The suspect has not been identified. The replacement value of the laptop is $2,700.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1122-0002.
The Brisbane Police Department received a call from the California Department of Parole requesting the police department to take an individual on parole into custody on a parole hold. Officers responded to the residence of the subject and took him into custody. Report #11-1122-0001.
The reporting party advised that between 10/20/2011 and 11/20/2011, an unknown subject stole his trailer from a business lot where it was being stored, waiting to be delivered to another job site. The trailer held approximately $25,000.00 of commercial painting equipment. The trailer was later recovered in Brisbane on 11/21/2011. The trailer was entered and removed from the Stolen Vehicle System. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1120-0001.
The Brisbane Police Department was notified that a student had not been enrolled to go to school for a period of approximately a month and a half. An investigation was conducted into why the juvenile had not been registered to attend school. At the conclusion of the investigation the juvenile has been placed on an Individual Educational Program. This case has been forwarded to the San Mateo County District Attorney?s Office for review and prosecution. Report #11-1121-0002.
The reporting party advised that on 11/17/11 between 1900 to 2315 hours, an unknown subject took a box full of clothes that were in the process of being shipped to the Philippines, also taken were two pairs of snow boots which were next to the box. The estimated value of the used clothing is $1,000.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1117-0002.
After a county wide broadcast for two suspects involved in a commercial burglary, an anonymous caller called the Brisbane Police Department, who told officers that the two suspects were in a store inside Brisbane. The subjects were located and subsequently arrested for having stolen property. The subjects were booked into jail. Report #11-1118-002.
The reporting party advised that after he dropped his child off at his father?s home, his child left the residence without permission. The child has history of running away to hang out with friends. The minor has been entered into the Missing Persons System as a runaway. This case is on going. Report #11-1119-0001.
The reporting party advised that on 11/17/11 between 1745 to 2100 hours, an unknown subject took bow and arrow archery set which he/she had in front of the property. The estimated loss is $127.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1117-0001.
The reporting party advised that on 11/15/11 at 1138 hours, an employee working on heavy machinery got his/her hand stuck in the machine. The employee was able to dislodge his/her hand and did not suffer major injuries. The employee refused medical aid. This report was taken for information only. Report #11-1115-002.
The reporting party advised that 10/19/11, he received a call from his financial institution stating that they believed he/she may have been a victim of a fraudulent charge. The financial institution advised the R/P that a purchase was made that was out of character for his account behavior. The R/P confirmed that he did not make a charge for $982.58 at an apple store in Emeryville. The financial institution reversed the charges made to the victim?s account. This report was taken at the request of the financial institution. There are no leads at this time, as the store does not have video surveillance. Report #11-1115-0003.
The reporting party advised that on 11/12/11 at 1914 hours, he got involved in a verbal argument with his sister about paying rent. During the verbal argument, his sister refused to leave his room and pushed her back from the door way. The sister claimed she fell backwards to the ground. The sister requested charges be pressed against her brother. The sister signed a citizen?s arrest affidavit and the brother was cited out at the scene for assault and battery. This case has been forwarded to the San Mateo County District Attorney?s office for prosecution. Report #11-1112-0002.
The reporting party advised that on 11/13/11 at 1000 hours, he/she saw a male subject on the roof top of a closed business. The male subject seen on the roof was wearing a backpack. Due to past burglaries the R/P believed that the subject had just burglarized the building. Officers responding set up a police perimeter and with the aid of outside agencies and a K9, it was determined that the unknown male subject had fled the scene. A search of the premises resulted in nothing taken. This case was taken for information only. Report #11-1113-0001.
The reporting party advised that on 11/13/11, an unknown subject reached into his unattended work vehicle and removed a GPS surveying unit that was sitting on the passenger seat. The passenger side window to the work truck was open and unsecured. The estimated replacement value of the GPS surveying unit is $2,000.00. The serial number to the surveying unit has been entered into the Automated Property System. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1115-0001.
The reporting party advised that on 11/12/11 between 1745 to 2200 hours, an unknown subject smashed the passenger side window to his/her vehicle and removed a back pack with several items of value. It is unknown at this time what was used to smash out the window. The estimated loss is in excess of $500.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1111-0003.
The reporting party advised that between 11/5/11 and 11/12/11, an unknown subject used rocks and bricks to damage his/her vehicle, breaking out every glass panel to the vehicle. The damage to the vehicle is in excess of $1,000.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1112-0001.
While on routine patrol, an officer contacted a male subject who was attempting to hitch a ride on the freeway. A warrants check showed that the male subject had two outstanding warrants for his arrest totaling $105,000.00. The subject was taken into custody without incident. Report #11-1111-0001.
The reporting party advised that 11/11/11 at 2218 hours, there was an employee that had been separated from the business that refused to leave. The reporting party advised that the employee was in the building and was demanding his last paycheck immediately. Officers responded and located the employee inside the business. The employee was escorted out by officers without his last paycheck. The employee and his friends who were also present were admonished not to come back to the premises. The reporting party did not wish to press charges, but a case was taken to document the incident. Report #11-1111-0002.
The reporting party advised that on 11/10/11 between 1900 to1915 hours, an unknown subject broke into his vehicle and took a company laptop. The reporting party was able to provide the serial number to the laptop which was entered into the Automated Property System. The estimated loss is $1,200.00. Brisbane Department of Public Works advised that on 11/10/2011 at 1400 hours, they located two wires cut inside a pull box next to a light pole. The estimated cost to repair the electrical wires are $200.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads. Report #11-1110-0001.
The reporting party advised between 11/02/11 and 11/09/11, an unknown subject flattened all the tires to his vehicle by letting the air out of them. The reporting party advises also that both his passenger doors were scratched with an unknown sharp object. The estimated damage to the vehicle is in excess of $400.00. Report #11-1109-0002.
