Report for September 1, 2011 - September 30, 2011
During the course of an investigation it was discovered that a subject had made a false report of a crime in where she falsely accused a subject known to her to have stolen $3000 from her home. This case was forwarded to the San Mateo District Attorney?s Office for review. Report # 11-0902-0002.
The reporting party advised that she became involved in a verbal argument with a subject known to her. The reporting party attempted to drive away in her vehicle; however, the other subject grabbed on to the open window and side-mirror of her vehicle and he hung on as she drove away. The subject refused to let go of the vehicle until the reporting party threatened to drive to the police station. The subject was later located and interviewed. He gave a conflicting account as to what had transpired. This case was closed because there was not sufficient evidence to charge either party with a crime. Report # 11-0902-0002.
The reporting party reported that a subject known to him assaulted him by throwing a frying pan in his direction; no injuries were sustained. The subject was located and subsequently cited and released for assault. Case closed. Report # 11-0929-0001.
An officer towed a 1997 Saturn sedan due to the vehicle having been parked on a roadway that had been closed per 22651 (M) VC. Case closed. Report # 11-0910-0001.
An officer towed a 1997 Lexus GS300 due to the vehicle having been parked on the roadway in excess of 72 hours without having been moved in violation of 22651 (K) VC. Case closed. Report # 11-0928-0001.
The reporting party advised that between February and May of 2011, $50,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from her apartment. There is no suspect information at this time. This case is on-going. Report # 11-0926-0004.
The reporting party advised that on 09/29/11 between 0800 and 0825 hours, unknown subject(s) removed company and personal property without permission from his parked and unlocked delivery vehicle; the total loss was approximately $2600. This case is on-going. Report # 11-0927-0001.
The reporting party advised that he was assaulted by an unknown subject while at a local bar. The reporting party sustained injuries that consisted of a swollen right eye, a gash above his right eyebrow, a cut upper lip, and a chipped tooth. A suspect description was generated based on the reporting party?s statement and other witness statements. This case is on-going. Report # 11-0926-0001.
The reporting party advised that between 09/25/11 at 2000 hours and 09/26/11 at 1400 hours, his parked vehicle was struck by another unknown vehicle. The second vehicle fled the scene without leaving contact information as required. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated. This case was suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report # 11-0926-0002.
The reporting party advised that approximately four months prior, her then-boyfriend broke the side mirror off of her vehicle during the course of an argument. This investigation is on-going. Report # 11-0919-0001.
Officers contacted a subject who had been creating a disturbance at the Marina. The subject was found to be intoxicated to the point where he was unable to care for his own safety. The subject was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed. Report # 11-0919-0002.
Driving while Intoxicated
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had committed a vehicle code violation. The driver was found to have been driving while under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed. Report # 11-0918-0002.
The reporting party advised that she witnessed a subject known to her vandalize a vehicle by ?keying? several locations on the vehicle?s exterior. Damage to the vehicle was confirmed with a repair cost at more than $400. The suspect was located, arrested, and bookend into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed. Report # 11-0918-0001.
The reporting party advised that between 06/30/11 and 08/13/11, unknown subject(s) took personal property (two video game consoles) without permission. The total approximate loss was $450. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated. This case was suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report # 11-0907-0001.
Possession of Stolen Property
An officer observed a subject carrying suspicious items from the area of a closed business; the business had been the victim of numerous previous copper wire thefts. An investigation revealed that the subject was in possession of recently cut and stripped copper wire that belonged to the closed business. The subject denied stealing the wire, but he admitted he did not have permission to possess it. The subject was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed. Report # 11-0917-0002.
The reporting party advised that between 09/04/11 at 1425 hours and 09/05/11 at 1100 hours, unknown subject(s) took her vehicle?s rear license plate without permission. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated. This case was suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report # 11-0905-0001.
Resisting Arrest Assault on a Police Officer Public Intoxication The reporting party advised that she was assaulted by a subject known to her. An investigation was conducted and a positive identification was made based on the reporting party?s statement and other witness statements. A search was conducted and the suspect was eventually located while attempting to hide from officers. The suspect subsequently resisted arrest and assaulted a police officer; he was also found to be intoxicated to the point where he was unable to care for his own safety. He was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed. Report # 11-0917-0001.
The reporting party advised that she was assaulted by her juvenile son; there were no visible injuries. The reporting party requested that the incident be documented, but no criminal prosecution be pursued against her son. An investigation was conducted and the case was documented for informational purposes. Report # 11-0912-0001. 0
The reporting party advised that a subject known to her (live-in boyfriend) took her vehicle without permission and she would like to report the vehicle as stolen.
