Driving Under the Influence
An officer made contact with a subject who was passed out and behind the wheel of a stopped but running vehicle. A subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had been operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Due to the subject?s high level of intoxication he was transported to Kaiser Hospital. The subject was cited and released at the hospital. Case closed. Report #11-0501-0002.

Possible Suicide Attempt
An officer responded to a residence on the report of a possible suicide attempt. An investigation revealed that a subject had taken medication that was prescribed to her by a physician. The subject was not suicidal and she did not meet the criteria for a psychiatric hold. The subject was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Case closed. Report #11-0501-0003.

Unlawful Weapon Discharge
The reporting party advised that on 05/30/11 at approximately 1400 hours, she was struck by a pellet that was fired from an air gun. An investigation was conducted and it was discovered that a neighboring juvenile fired the pellet from an air rifle and he inadvertently struck the reporting party with the pellet. This case was forwarded to the Brisbane City Attorney for review. Report # 11-0530-0001.

Officers responded to the report of a road-rage incident. An altercation took place where one driver accused the other of intentionally swerving his vehicle towards her vehicle and nearly causing a collision. There were conflicting accounts of the incident and no independent witnesses were located. This incident was documented and forwarded to the San Mateo County District Attorney?s Office for review. Hit and Run Collision
Officers responded to the report of a hit and run collision. An investigation was conducted and it was determined that the suspect vehicle collided with two parked vehicles. The suspect vehicle was located unoccupied; it could not be determined who the driver of the vehicle was during the time of the collision. The vehicle was impounded. This case was closed because there were no witnesses or evidence generated to identify who the driver was at the time of the collision. Report # 11-0528-0002.

The reporting party advised that on 05/14/11, unknown subject(s) fraudulently used his debit card information to make several unauthorized purchases throughout the peninsula. Approximately $400 of fraudulent charges were made. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated. It is unknown how or where the suspect(s) obtained the debit card information. The subject initially lied to police about her true identity. Disturbance
Officers responded to the report of a physical altercation between two employees. An investigation was conducted and it was discovered that two employees had a verbal argument that became physical when one of the employees pushed a cart in the direction of the other employee and struck her. The second employee raised a bundle of newspapers and acted as if she was going to throw it at the other. Neither party wished to pursue prosecution of the other. Based on the statements of the parties and witnesses, both were equally responsible for the disturbance. Case closed. Report #11-0522-0001.

Cocaine for Sale Felony Crime While on Bail Posses Drug Paraphernalia On officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was occupied by a subject known by the officer to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was placed under arrest. The subject was found to be in possession of a controlled substance for sale; she was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia; and, she was found to have committed a felony crime while on bail. The reporting party advised that she was involved in some sort of altercation with her boyfriend regarding him using her vehicle without permission. Officers responded and attempted to conduct an investigation. The reporting party became uncooperative and refused to provide any further information; she did not wish to report her vehicle as stolen and she did not want to discuss the altercation that she had with her boyfriend. An investigation revealed that during the course of an argument the mother had pushed her son several times in the chest area and then slapped him across his face. Officers responded to the report of a loose and aggressive Pit Bull. This particular dog had been a chronic problem in terms of it running loose and being aggressive toward citizens. Restraining Order Violation Possession of Paraphernalia Officers responded to the report of a physical disturbance between a husband and wife. One of the involved parties had left the scene prior to officer arrival. An investigation revealed that the husband had battered his wife causing corporal injury. He was also in violation of a valid domestic violence restraining order. The subject was arrested. During a search incident to arrest he was found to be in possession of a glass pipe of the type used to smoke crack cocaine. The subject was transported and booked into the San Mateo County Jail. An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had committed a vehicle code violation. A subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had been operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Brandishing
The reporting party advised that on 05/03/11 at approximately 1355 hours, he became involved in a road-rage incident with another driver while on HW 101. Both drivers exited the freeway in Brisbane and the reporting party followed behind the other vehicle in order to obtain a license plate number. The other vehicle stopped on the roadway edge and the reporting party stopped behind it. The other driver exited the vehicle and brandished a large hunting knife. The subject charged the reporting party?s vehicle and attempted to slash one of the tires. The reporting party fled the scene. The reporting party adamantly refused any criminal prosecution and would not fully cooperate with officers on-scene. The second subject was later located and identified. He admitted to the actions as described by the reporting party and the knife used was taken as evidence.
