Report for December 1, 2010 - December 29, 2010
Officers responded with the fire department to a female having difficulty breathing. Paramedics arrived and after administering life saving measures the female subject was pronounced deceased. Officers found no suspicious activity and notified the San Mateo County Coroners. The coroner has classified the cause as a natural death. Report #10-1230-0001.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had stuck several newspaper stands. A reporting party was able to follow the vehicle to a residence address on the unit block of Sierra Point. Officers responded to residence and determined the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and subsequently booked into the county jail. Report #10-1231-0001.
An officer towed a 1990 VW Jetta for being parked in excess of 72 hours. The vehicle was entered into SVS. Case closed. Report #10-1227-0003.
An officer towed a 1990 Lexus for having registration expired in excess of 6 months. The vehicle was entered into SVS. Case closed. Report #10-1228-0005.
The reporting party advised that between 12/28/10 and 12/29/2010, an unknown subject smashed the driver side rear quarter window his vehicle. The value of the loss is $477.30. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #10-1227-0001.
The officer responded to male subject causing a disturbance. After arriving on scene and speaking with a male subject, officer determined the subject was a danger to himself or others and was placed on a 5150 hold and transported to Peninsula Hospital. Case closed. Report #10-1229-0002.
The reporting party advised of a disturbance in the street. Officers arrived and determined that a female victim was assaulted by her boyfriend. The boyfriend fled the scene prior to officers arriving. Officers were unable to locate the boyfriend. There is an outstanding probable cause arrest if the boyfriend is located. This case has been forwarded to the district attorney?s office for prosecution. Report #10-1229-0004.
Driving under the Influence
Officers responded to a hit and run with witnesses. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to First Chance. Case closed. Report #10-1229-0004.
Officers responded to the area on a report of a trespassing subject. Subsequent investigation revealed that the subject was disoriented, unstable on his feet and unable to answer simple questions. He was also bleeding from the nose and a cut on his head. He was placed on a 5150 hold and transported to Peninsula Hospital. Case closed. Report #10-1228-0002.
Assault & Battery/Threats
The reporting party advised that a co-worker had struck and injured him. The reporting party did require medical attention. He made a citizen?s arrest of the suspect, who was then transported to jail. Case closed. Report #10-1228-0003.
The reporting party advised that at approximately 2330 hours, the reporting party heard a loud bang. The reporting party looked outside of his/her residence and noticed that an unknown vehicle had damaged the driver side of his/her vehicle. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #10-1228-0004.
The reporting party advised that between 12/22/10 and 12/27/10 an unknown subject took four laptop computers from his business. The total loss is unknown at this time. This investigation is on-going. Report #10-1227-0002.
The reporting party advised that between 12/22/10 and 12/27/10 an unknown subject entered an unlocked and open trailer, and opened several boxes. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken. This case is on-going. Report #10-1227-0004.
An officer checked on a disabled vehicle parked in the area. A records check revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen in San Francisco on 11/29/10. It was unoccupied. The vehicle was towed and removed from SVS. Case closed. Report #10-1228-0001.
Controlled Substance/Paraphernalia
An officer contacted a subject to check on his welfare. Subsequent investigation revealed that the subject was under the influence of a controlled substance and was in possession of paraphernalia. He was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #10-1203-0001.
The reporting party advised that on 12/24/10 between 1830 hours and 2130 hours, an unknown subject slashed both left side tires of his vehicle. The value of the loss is $300.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #10-1227-0001.
Theft/Fraudulent Use of Access Card
The reporting party advised that between 12/21/10 and 12/23/10 an unknown subject took her wallet from her unlocked vehicle. A debit card in the wallet was fraudulently used to make several unauthorized purchases. This case is on-going. Report #10-1226-0003.
Officers responded to a welfare check of a subject who was threatening to harm himself. He was determined to be a danger to himself and placed on a 5150 W & I hold. He was transported to Peninsula Hospital. Case closed. Report #10-1226-0001.
The reporting party advised that sometime between 12/23/10 and 12/26/10 an unknown vehicle collided with her parked vehicle and fled the scene without making notifications. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #10-1226-0002.
The reporting party advised that on 12/24/10 at approximately 0030 hours, he was dropped off by a taxi at his residence. When he was not able to pay, the driver punched him in the face, causing injury. This case is on-going. Report #10-1224-0002.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the area and located the victim of an assault/battery. An officer responded to a report of a dispute over a court order child exchange/visitation schedule. Subsequent investigation revealed that the mother of the child was in violation of a valid court order mandating the exchange. The reporting party advised that on 12/21/10 at 0030 hours an unknown male subject brandished a handgun in the parking lot before fleeing the area in a black Toyota Celica. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #10-1221-0001.
The reporting party advised that on 12/16/10 at approximately 2300 hours, he saw one of his neighbors bent down near the reporting party?s vehicle. A few days later, one of the tires was flat. The reporting party advised that on 11/29/10 he had hired an unknown subject to work on his property. While at the property, the subject took the reporting party?s camera. Contribute to Delinquency of Minor
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the area and contacted the 6 occupants. Subsequent investigation revealed that the two adults had supplied alcohol and marijuana to the four juveniles. The adults were cited and released. The minors were released to their parents. Officers responded to a report of a physical altercation between a boyfriend and girlfriend. Both sustained injuries. Subsequent investigation revealed that the female subject was the primary aggressor. She was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #10-1209-0001.
The reporting party advised that on 12/10/10 at 1200 hours, she was loading her vehicle with several cartons of cigarettes she had just purchased. A black male adult grabbed them, pushed her to the ground when she tried to stop him and then fled in a waiting vehicle driven by a second subject. The value of the loss is $837.00. While conducting an investigation into drug activity, officers were trying to ascertain the correct identity of one of the subjects who was lying to avoid arrest for a warrant. The other subject on scene also lied about that subject?s identity to aid him in avoiding arrest. She was cited and released at the scene. Case closed. Report #10-1206-0004.
