Report for June 1, 2010 - June 29, 2010
An officer responded to the call of a homeless subject sleeping in the area. Subsequent investigation revealed that the subject was in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. The subject was cited and released and he agreed to leave the area. Case closed. Report #10-0602-001.
Officers responded to the report of a disturbance in a home. Subsequent investigation revealed that a male subject had battered his live-in girlfriend. The subject was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed. Report #10-0601-002.
Officers responded to the report of a subject rummaging through a vehicle that had broken windows. When officers arrived, the subject fled the scene in the vehicle and led Officers on a vehicle pursuit. Officers observed the subject throw drug paraphernalia from the vehicle. The subject was arrested and charged with Evading a Peace Officer; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance; Destroying Evidence; and Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance. Illegally Parked/Tow Away Zone
An officer towed a green Ford Mustang for being illegally parked in a posted construction zone. The vehicle was entered into SVS. Case closed. Report #10-0630-002.
Driving Under the Influence
An officer stopped a driver for a vehicle code violation. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and booked into First Chance. Case closed. Report #10-0603-001.
Probation Violation/Arrest
At the request of the Probation Department, officers contacted a subject who had violated the terms of his probation and placed him under arrest. He was booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #10-0630-003.
An officer located a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway with the driver slumped over, suffering from a medical emergency. The driver was transported via ambulance to the hospital and his vehicle was towed. The vehicle was entered into SVS. Case closed. Report #10-0605-002.
The reporting party advised that between 06/28/10 and 06/30/10 an unknown subject took the rear license plate off of his vehicle. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #10-0630-001.
The reporting party advised that between 06/24/10 and 06/25/10 an unknown subject broke the left side mirror housing of her parked vehicle. The value of the loss is unknown at this time. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #10-0626-002.
Hit/Run Collision/False Report
Officers responded to a report of a hit and run collision. Subsequent investigation revealed that the reporting party had fabricated the story and had actually been involved in an earlier hit and run collision that he caused. This case has been forwarded to the District Attorney?s office for prosecution. Report #10-0624-002.
The reporting party advised that between 06/19/10 and 06/21/10 an unknown subject had dumped a large pile of debris at his business. Subsequent investigation led to a suspect who eventually admitted to the crime. This case has been forwarded to the District Attorney?s office for prosecution. Report #10-0621-002.
The reporting party advised that on 06/24/10 at 1606 hours, he saw a beige and white van back into a parked motorcycle, knocking it to the ground. The driver of the van fled the scene without notifying the owner of the motorcycle. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #10-0624-001.
An officer contacted the occupants of a suspicious vehicle parked behind a closed business. A records check revealed that one of the subjects had a $5,000.00 warrant from Daly City PD for driving with a suspended license. A second subject had a $10,000.00 warrant from San Mateo PD for under the influence of narcotics. Both subjects were arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #10-0620-002.
Driving Under the Influence
Officers responded to the area on a report of a possibly intoxicated driver. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the driver for driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to First Chance. Report #10-0618-002.
The reporting party advised that his son knocked him down and struck him numerous times in the head with an unknown blunt object. The reporting party lost consciousness and sustained other injuries. This case has been forwarded to the District Attorney?s office for prosecution. Report #10-0617-004.
The reporting party advised that on 06/15/10 at 0137 hours an unknown subject pried open the door to his business, smashed the interior surveillance camera and took six radios, a cell phone and a time recorder. The value of the loss is $2,745.00. This investigation is on-going. Report #10-0615-001.
