An officer responded to the call of a homeless subject sleeping in the area. Subsequent investigation revealed that the subject was in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. The subject was cited and released and he agreed to leave the area. Case closed. Report #10-0602-001.

Evading a Peace Officer
Officers responded to the report of a subject rummaging through a vehicle that had broken windows. When officers arrived, the subject fled the scene in the vehicle and led Officers on a vehicle pursuit. Officers observed the subject throw drug paraphernalia from the vehicle. The subject was arrested and charged with Evading a Peace Officer; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance; Destroying Evidence; and Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance. An officer contacted the occupants of a suspicious vehicle parked behind a closed business. A records check revealed that one of the subjects had a $5,000.00 warrant from Daly City PD for driving with a suspended license. A second subject had a $10,000.00 warrant from San Mateo PD for under the influence of narcotics. Both subjects were arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #10-0620-002.
