Driving Under the Influence
An officer stopped a driver for a vehicle code violation. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and transported to First Chance. Case closed. Report #09-1201-001.
An officer towed a 1990 Toyota 4 Runner for being parked in excess of 72 hours. The vehicle was entered into SVS. Report #09-1215-003.
An officer towed silver 1998 Ford Expedition for having expired registration in excess of six months. The vehicle was entered into SVS. Report #09-1221-001.
While on patrol, an officer saw two citizens forcibly restraining another subject in the roadway. Subsequent investigation revealed that the restrained subject had stolen beer from the store owned by one of the two citizens and had challenged the citizens to fight. The subject was also the suspect in the assault and battery that had occurred on 12/28/09. While officers were placing him under arrest, the subject forcibly resisted. He was booked at the jail. His parole agent was contacted and a parole hold was also issued. Report #09-1229-002.
Officers responded to a report of a broken fire hydrant. Subsequent investigation revealed that an unknown vehicle had struck the hydrant, shearing it off at the base and the driver had fled the scene. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #09-1227-002
The reporting party advised that on 12/28/09 at 2111 hours, his nephew struck him several times. The nephew fled the scene prior to the officer?s arrival. The reporting party signed a citizen?s arrest affidavit and the case has been forwarded to the District Attorney?s office for prosecution. Report #09-1228-002.
Driving Under the Influence/Collision
Officers responded to a report of a non-injury collision. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver at fault had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and transported to First Chance. His vehicle was towed and entered into SVS. Case closed. Report #09-1227-001.
The reporting party advised that an intoxicated family member hit and pushed several family members. Officers responded and took the subject into custody. The subject was also found to be in possession of a home made billy club. The subject was booked into jail. Case closed. Report #09-1220-005.
The reporting party advised that on 12/21/2009 between 0100 hours and 1900 hours, an unknown subject dumped roofing material and miscellaneous rubbish on his commercial property. This case has been forwarded to the detective for further follow up. Report #09-1222-001.
The reporting party advised that on 12/23/09 at 1657 hours, while she was loading her vehicle with retail goods, an unknown subject drove up to her, jumped out of his vehicle and grabbed a case of cigarettes and then fled the area. The value of the loss is $1,400.00. This case has been forwarded to the detective for further follow up. Report #09-1223-001.
Driving Under the Influence
An officer investigated a damaged vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had been driving while under the influence of alcohol and been involved in a collision. He was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #09-1223-002.
The reporting party advised that between early December 2009 and 12/25/09, an unknown subject entered his locked boat and ransacked the interior. An interior lock was taken and further inventory is pending. The total value of the loss is unknown at this time. This investigation is on-going. Report #09-1225-002.
The reporting party advised that on 12/20/09 at 1603 hours, he was approached by a male subject and robbed at knife point. The suspect was known to the victim only by first name. Officers responded and subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the suspect. This case has been forwarded to the District Attorney?s Office for prosecution. Report #09-1220-004.
The reporting party advised that on 12/20/09 at 0300 hours an unknown subject attempted to break the dead bolt on her door in order to enter her residence. The attempt was unsuccessful. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #09-1220-002.
The reporting party advised that on 12/20/2009 between 0200 hours and 1100 hours, an unknown subject took two hub caps from his vehicle. The value of the loss is $34.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #09-1220-003.
San Mateo County Probation requested that officers respond to the area and arrest a subject for probation violations. The subject was arrested and transported to the jail. Case closed. Report #09-1206-001.
The reporting party advised that on 12/14/09 a student stole a cellular phone, an IPOD and a yearbook belonging to fellow students. Subsequent investigation led to her arrest. She was booked at Hillcrest. The property was recovered. Case closed. Report #09-1215-002.
Officers responded to a report of a subject refusing to leave the premises. A records check of the subject revealed that he had a no bail warrant from Santa Barbara PD for fraud. He was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #09-1217-002.
Officers responded to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian. Subsequent investigation revealed that there had not been a collision, but that the pedestrian was so intoxicated she had fallen and injured herself. She was transported to the hospital for treatment. This case has been forwarded to the District Attorney?s office for prosecution for public intoxication. Report #09-1220-001.
The reporting party advised that between 12/13/09 and 12/15/09, an unknown subject stole her Specialized Mountain Bike from her front porch. The value of the loss is less than $400.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #09-1215-001.
The reporting party advised that on 12/14/2009 between 1600 hours and 2100 hours, an unknown subject took his silver 2005 BMW 545I. The vehicle was entered into SVS. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report # 09-1214-005.
The reporting party advised that sometime between 12/11/09 and 12/14/09, an unknown subject used black spray paint to spray graffiti on the walls of the address. This case has been forwarded to the detective for follow up. Report #09-1214-001.
The reporting party advised that on 12/13/09 between 1800 hours and 2030 hours, an unknown vehicle side swiped the left side of his parked vehicle and then fled the scene. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #09-1214-002.

An officer responded to a report of subjects dumping refuse in the area. The subjects were contacted and admitted to dumping the refuse. The driver was cited and released at the scene for dumping, driving while unlicensed and no proof of insurance. His vehicle was towed and entered into SVS. Case closed. Report #09-1209-003.
The reporting party advised that between 12/08/09 and 12/09/09 an unknown subject broke the window into the business and took computer equipment. The value of the loss is $700.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #09-1209-001.
