Report for January 1, 2009 - January 28, 2009
An officer towed a 1974 Dodge pick up for being parked in excess of 72 hours. The vehicle was entered into SVS. Report #09-0113-001.
The reporting party advised that at 1115 hours, after a verbal altercation with an unknown male subject, the unknown subject took his car keys and fled. This case is on-going. Report #09-0102-001.
The reporting party advised that on 01/31/09 between 1130 hours and 1730 hours, an unknown subject entered her locked hotel room and took her purse. The purse was found in San Francisco by a citizen who returned it to her. The only thing missing from her purse was approximately $30.00 in cash. This case is on-going. Report #09-0131-002.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and contacted several subjects. Record checks revealed that one of the subjects had a $2,500.00 warrant from South San Francisco PD for driving with a suspended license. The subject was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. The reporting party advised that between 01/28/09 and 01/29/09, an unknown vehicle collided with and damaged the gate into the secured parking lot. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without leaving his information or contacting the property owner. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Officers responded to an alarm call at the residence and contacted the resident. Subsequent investigation revealed that her husband had just physically assaulted and injured her before fleeing the scene. The husband was later located in San Francisco, arrested and booked at the main jail. Cased closed. Report #09-0130-001.
The reporting party advised that between 11/01/08 and 01/25/09, an unknown subject took his Kayak from a storage area without his permission. The value of the loss is $2,500.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #09-0127-002.
The reporting party advised that between 12/01/08 and 01/22/09, an unknown subject took two new laptop computers from offices at the business. The value of the loss is $2,000.00. This case is on-going. Report #09-0128-002.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and contacted one of the two subjects involved. Subsequent investigation revealed that one of the subjects threw an object at the other, causing minor injury. The injured party made a citizen?s arrest of the subject. The subject who threw the object was located the next day. He was arrested, issued a notice to appear and released. Case closed. Report #09-0106-002.
The reporting party advised that between 03/01/08 and 01/23/09, an unknown subject entered a vacant warehouse building through the roof and removed several hundred feet of copper drainage tubing. The reporting party advised that between 01/24/09 and 01/25/09, an unknown vehicle collided with the passenger door of his parked vehicle. Dumping on Public Property
The reporting party advised of a large amount of debris dumped along a public trail. No identifying information was located among the debris. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #09-0124-004.
An officer saw an unoccupied vehicle partially obstructing the roadway and stopped to investigate. A records check revealed that the vehicle had been stolen in San Francisco on 01/09/09. The vehicle was recovered and removed from SVS. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #09-0123-002.
The reporting party advised that between 01/22/09 and 01/24/09, an unknown subject took a five gallon can of paint from his property. The value of the loss is $100.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #09-0124-02.
Driving Under the Influence
An officer stopped a driver for a vehicle code violation. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and transported to First Chance. Case closed. Report #09-0123-001.
The reporting party advised that between 01/21/09 and 01/22/09 an unknown subject broke two pieces of a plywood wall and tore the building paper from the rear of a tool shed. The reporting party advised that at approximately 1630 hours on 01/21/09, an unknown subject shot a plastic air soft pellet at one of the rear windows to her residence, shattering it. The reporting party advised that between 01/20/09 and 01/21/09, an unknown subject entered four vehicles and rummage through them. A camera and cell phone were taken from one of the vehicles. Nothing else was taken from the other three vehicles. The value of the loss is $415.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #09-0121-001.
The reporting party advised that his roommate had just swallowed approximately forty pills because she was depressed. The victim was evaluated, deemed a danger to herself and was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation. Case closed. Report #09-0118-001.
The reporting party called 911 to advise that he and three other occupants in his vehicle had just been shot at by the occupants of another vehicle. Three out of the four occupants in the vehicle sustained gunshot injuries. The suspect vehicle was described only as a white late model Toyota Corolla with tinted windows. The reporting party advised that on 01/14/09 between 0820 hours and 1430 hours, an unknown subject entered his residence via an open bathroom window and took $155.75 in coins. Subsequent investigation revealed a juvenile relative had taken the coins. He was arrested and booked at Hillcrest. Case closed. Report #09-0114-003.
Noise Ordinance Violation
The reporting party advised of noise levels from a commercial business in the area that exceeded the levels allowed per the municipal code. Officers responded, took decibel readings and found the levels to be too high. A report was taken and submitted to the City Attorney for review. Report #09-0112-001.

An officer responded to a report of wires down. Subsequent investigation revealed that an unknown vehicle had hit and pulled down overhead wires which resulted in damage to a residence.
