The reporting party advised that on 07/04/07 at 0330 hours, he was awakened by noise from his driveway. When he looked outside, he saw several subjects running away from his parked vehicle. He went outside and checked his vehicle and determined nothing was missing. At 0930 hours, he inspected his vehicle more thoroughly and discovered that the vehicle fuse box was damaged and called the police. The reporting party advised that on 06/12/07, he began a purchase transaction with an online internet company to buy two Nokia N95 LG Chocolate phones. The reporting party stated that as of 07/02/07 he has not received the phones, which he paid $683.83. The victim has been contacted by the vendor and given a delivery date. The victim will notify the police department if he doesn?t receive the phones. This case is on-going. Report #07-0702-001.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Officers responded to a report of two male subjects arguing in the roadway. When subsequent investigation revealed that one of the subjects had struck the other in the head with 16? long metal tin snips, that subject was arrested and booked at the main jail. Case closed. Report #07-0729-003.

Warrant Arrest
While on patrol, an officer saw a subject who he knew had a $10,000.00 warrant from Daly City PD for burglary and grand theft. After seeing the officer the subject retreated back into the residence. The officer staked out the residence until the subject came back outside and was subsequently arrested. The subject was booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed. Report #07-0726-005.

The Brisbane Police Department was requested by the Lyon County (Nevada) Sheriffs Office to recover an embezzled vehicle that was believed to be stored in Brisbane. Brisbane Police Officers, with the San Mateo County Vehicle Theft Task Force, responded to the location and recovered the vehicle. This case has been forwarded to the Lyon County Sheriffs Office. The reporting party advised that on 07/09/07, she was notified by Sears that a credit account had been opened in her name. She advised Sears the account had been opened without her consent or knowledge. Approximately $9,800 had already been charged to the account. The Sears Fraud Department immediately closed the account. Since this account had been opened at the Sears store in Oakland, CA, this case has been forwarded to the Oakland Police Department for further investigation. Report #07-0710-004.
