Report for March 1, 2007 - March 30, 2007
The reporting party advised that while she had stopped her vehicle for a ball that had rolled out in the roadway her vehicle was struck from behind by a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle then fled the scene without exchanging any information. There is no suspect information.
The reporting party advised that between 03/29/07 and 03/30/07 her parked vehicle was struck by another vehicle. There is no suspect information.
The reporting party advised that between 03/29/07 and 03/30/07, an unknown suspect entered the victim?s unlocked vehicle and took an in-dash CD player valued at approximately $350.00.
The reporting party advised that between 03/28/07 to 03/29/07, an unknown subject(s) entered his locked vehicle through his driver?s side passenger door and stole a mobile GPS unit and his Cellular phone. The estimated loss is $600.00.
An officer recognized a subject riding his bicycle to work who he knew had a warrant for his arrest. The officer made contact and confirmed the subject still had an outstanding warrant for $7,500.00 out of San Mateo County driving with a suspended license. The subject was arrested and booked into jail. Case closed.
The reporting party advised that between 03/27/07 and 03/28/07, an unknown subject entered his vehicle by unknown means and took a pair of sunglasses and a tool box. The estimated loss is $1,019.00.
The reporting party advised that on 03/27/07 between 0400 hours and 0500 hours, an unknown subject smashed the driver?s side window and took a mobile GPS unit. A second vehicle parked in the same parking lot was also burglarized and had a laptop and digital camera taken from within the vehicle. The estimated total loss is $3,750.00.
An officer discovered information regarding graffiti suspects that had been arrested by South San Francisco PD. The officer recognized the monikers of the arrested suspects as being the same graffiti monikers found on a building in Brisbane and was able to tie the suspects to that graffiti. This investigation is on-going.
Driving Under the Influence
An officer stopped a driver for a vehicle code violation. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. The subject was arrested, cited and released to personnel at First Chance on a promise to appear.
An officer contacted several suspicious subjects at the Tubes. A records check revealed one of them had a no bail warrant out of San Francisco for assault with a deadly weapon. The subject was arrested and booked at the main jail. Case closed.
An officer located a vehicle illegally parked in an empty field. A records check of both occupants revealed that the female subject had two no bail warrants out of San Mateo County, both for possession of a controlled substance. She was also found to be in possession of three baggies of methamphetamine. She was arrested and booked at the main jail. Case closed.
While attempting to serve a warrant for the Broadmoor Police Department, officers located a different subject who had two warrants. The first warrant was for $10,000.00 out of San Bruno PD for being under the influence of a controlled substance and the second was for $2,000.00 out of Santa Clara County for driving with a suspended license. That subject was arrested and booked at the main jail. Officers were not able to locate the original wanted subject. Case closed.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving a male and female. A records of the female revealed she had a $7,500.00 warrant out of San Mateo PD for being under the influence of a controlled substance. She was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. She was arrested and booked at the main jail. Case closed.
The reporting party advised that between 03/16/07 and 03/19/07, an unknown subject spray painted graffiti on the walls of his building. The value of the loss is approximately $30.00.
The reporting party advised that between 03/16/07 to 03/17/07, unknown subjects cut down two live power poles and damaged another on the property. After cutting down the poles, unknown subjects too approximately 1200 feet of copper wire. The estimated loss is $400.00. The cost of the repairs is unknown at this time. This investigation is on-going.
The reporting party advised that between 03/10/07 to 03/18/07, an unknown subject broke into his unoccupied boat and took a Magnavox LCD television. The estimated loss is $300.00.
Narcotics/Trespass Arrest
The reporting party advised that a female subject who had been admonished in the past that she was not allowed on back on the property had returned. Officers responded to the scene and found that the female suspect had broken into a vacant apartment to house herself. She was subsequently located hiding outside. A search incident to arrest revealed she was in possession of methamphetamine. The subject was booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed.
The reporting party advised that between 03/17/07 and 03/18/07, an unknown subject broke into his work van and took his PDA, digital camera, GPS and sports glove. The estimated loss is $1,426.49.
The reporting party advised that sometime in early March an unknown suspect had applied for a credit card in her name. The victim had reported the crime to the credit card company and the card was denied. This investigation is on-going.
San Mateo P.D. requested a BOL on a vehicle that was involved in a brandishing of a firearm in their city. An Officer located the vehicle taking the Brisbane exit and stopped the vehicle. San Mateo P.D. arrived on scene and took the suspect into custody. Case closed.
The reporting party advised that on 03/16/07 between 0845 hours and 1655 hours, an unknown suspect had struck her parked vehicle and then fled the scene. There is no suspect information.
Officers were dispatched to the school on the report of an assault and battery. Upon officers arrival it was determined that a juvenile was struck in the head with a basketball by another student while they were playing a game of basketball. Case closed.
The reporting party advised that between 03/08/07 to 03/13/07, an unknown subject applied for an American Express charge card in the victim?s name. The application was denied due to a protocol verification phone call. There was no loss. This case has been suspended due to insufficient leads.
While contacting the occupants of a disabled vehicle, an officer ran a records check on the occupants. One of the passengers had no bail felony warrant for vehicle theft out of San Francisco. The subject was taken into custody and booked into jail. Case closed.
An Officer located a male Asian subject sitting on the ground in the number one lane of southbound Bayshore. Officer contacted the subject as subsequently detained the subject after he attempted to run into other lanes of traffic. The subject was taken into custody on a 5150 Welfare and Institution hold. Case closed.
The reporting party advised of vandalism in progress. Officers responded to the scene and located three subjects spraying graffiti on a wall using spray aerosol cans. The three subjects were taken into custody and released on a promise to appear citation. Case closed.
An officer located a subject vandalizing a concrete section of a cement tunnel which runs directly under Bayshore. The subject was taken into custody for vandalism and possession of vandalism tool. The subject was released on a promise to appear citation. Case closed.
The reporting party advised that between 03/07/07 and 03/08/07, unknown suspects cut a hole in the fence and removed scrap and new copper from the rear of several work trucks. The value of the loss is 2,080.00.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious woman wandering in the halls of the hotel. She was contacted and a records check revealed she had a $25,000.00 warrant from El Dorado County for assaulting and injuring a police officer. She was arrested and booked at the main jail.
Stolen/Lost License Plate
The reporting party advised that between 03/05/07 and 03/06/07 the rear license plate of his Toyota was either lost or stolen. It is unknown where the plate was lost or stolen. The reporting party?s vehicle was in Pittsburg, San Francisco and Colma as well as in Brisbane. The plate was entered into SVS.
The reporting party advised that between 03/05/07 to 03/06/07, an unknown subject broke out the right rear quarter window of his vehicle and took a $1,000.00 DLP projector. A second vehicle parked in the parking lot also had the passenger side window broken out but nothing was taken. The estimated loss between both vehicles is $1,400.00.
The reporting party advised that on 03/06/07 between 0700 hours and 2140 hours, his vehicle was taken from the front of the business. As the victim reported his vehicle as being stolen, San Francisco CHP recovered his vehicle. Case closed.
The reporting party advised that sometime during the past three weeks an unknown driver/vehicle struck her parked vehicle. There is no suspect information.
The reporting party advised that between 03/02/07 and 03/05/07, an unknown subject broke a cinder block used to prop open the front door of their business. The estimated loss is $10.00.
The reporting party advised that a subject was sleeping in a vehicle parked in a carport. Officers responded and located a female sleeping in her vehicle. A subsequent consent search of the vehicle revealed the occupant to be in possession of marijuana. The subject was issued a citation and released from scene. Case closed.
While investigating a suspicious parked vehicle, officers located a bag of marijuana which the driver admitted to purchasing and owning. The subject was cited for the marijuana and released at the scene. Case closed.
While investigating a suspicious parked vehicle, officers located a marijuana cigarette (blunt) on one of the occupants. The subject was cited for the marijuana and released at the scene. Case closed.
The reporting party advised that while at Kaiser Hospital in South San Francisco, his son left the hospital during a drug test, which was initiated by his father. The missing juvenile later returned home and was taken out of MUPS. Case closed.
The reporting party advised that between 02/23/07 and 03/02/07, an unknown subject took the front license plate off of his company vehicle. The license plate was entered into the Stolen Vehicle System.
The reporting party advised that between 01/16/07 and 02/12/07 one of his employees forged company checks, used company credit cards to make unapproved purchases and stole credit card information in order to open additional credit accounts. The value of the loss is $4,627.69. This investigation is on-going.
The reporting party advised that between 2/28/07 and 03/01/07, an unknown vehicle struck his vehicle while it was parked in a parking stall. An area check for possible suspect vehicle was completed by officers with negative results.
