On 7/28 at 1503 hours, officers responded to a report of a bomb threat at the business. The building was evacuated and the San Mateo County Bomb Squad was called for assistance. The building was searched and no bomb was found. This case is ongoing. Report #15-0728-003.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon
On 7/28 at 0100 hours, a male suspect battered another male with a large wooden tree branch. The suspect and weapon were later found in the area. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0728-001.

On 7/27 at 0206 hours, an officer noticed a vehicle parked in an intersection and made contact with the occupants. Upon contact it was revealed the driver was under the influence of alcohol and provided police with false information. The driver was taken into custody. It was also revealed that the passenger was intoxicated to the point he was unable to care for himself and was arrested for public intoxication. Case closed by arrest. Report #15-0727-001.

Warrant Arrest
On 7/25 at 2058 hours, an officer was conducting a foot patrol and heard loud screaming coming from a car. The subject who was screaming was found to be talking to his mother on the phone. A records check revealed the subject had two bench warrants $7,500 each. The warrants were confirmed and the subject was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. On 7/21 an officer spoke with a reporting party that stated his vehicle had been broken into on 7/12 and musical equipment was taken. On 7/20 at 1945 hours, a boyfriend and girlfriend were involved in a verbal dispute after both had been drinking alcohol all day long. The argument started over household chores and the male subject was escorted to a nearby hotel by police. An online referral was submitted by police to a domestic violence counselor. On 7/18 at 0351 hours, officers responded to a welfare check of a woman who thought she would die based on the planets and texted her husband about her death. On 7/18 a male subject strangled a female subject he had been in a previous long term relationship with. The male then vandalized the female’s vehicle causing major damage. On 7/17 an officer recovered an unoccupied stolen vehicle. The vehicle had been reported as stolen hours earlier out of Daly City. The vehicle was found with no tires and missing engine parts. On 7/17 at 1500 hours, an officer noticed a vehicle with a smashed window and contacted the owner. The owner met with police and stated a pair of running shoes had been taken.
