The reporting party advised that the rear window of his vehicle was smashed by an unknown subject. Another vehicle parked in the area had a purse removed from the vehicle. Suspicious Circumstance
On 09/30/13 the reporting party found what appears to be a human lower mandible. A search was conducted and no other bones were found. The jaw bone was extreamely old and likely that of a Native American. The bone was collected and the coroner was contacted and will be investigating it further. Report #13-0930-001.

The reporting party advised that between 09/27/13 and 09/29/13 at approximately 1420 hours, Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the building via window smash. The suspect(s)s entered a business on the second floor through a stairwell door and took computer laptops without permission. The total loss is still to be determined and the estimated cost to repair the window is $8000.00. There is no suspect information at this time. Report #13-0929-002.

On 09/30/13 an officer contacted a subject subsequent to a separate investigation. A records check revealed that the subject had a $4000.00 warrant out of Santa Clara County. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was issued a promise to appear. Report#13-0930-0003.

Warrant Arrest
While on routine patrol, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop. After contacting the driver, it was discovered that the driver had and outstanding $10,000 warrant for his arrest. The driver was arrested and booked into county jail. Report #13-0903-001.

Domestic Related Incident
The reporting party came into the police station to report that two days ago, she and her husband were involved in a verbal argument that escalated to a physical altercation. After a full investigation, there is lack of probable cause to support a physical altercation occurred. Both parties admit that a verbal argument did take place. The female was connected with a CORA counselor. The husband refused to speak with a counselor. This case has been taken for information only. Report #13-0927-004.

The reporting party advised that on 09/26/13 between 1600 to 1700 hours, he parked his vehicle and began to unload his trunk. He had to leave his vehicle and left his trunk open. While his trunk was left opened, an unknown subject came by and removed his golf bag which had his golf clubs in them. The estimated replacement value of the golf bag and clubs is $2,000.00. Vandalism
In the past two weeks the men?s restroom has been a victim of an unknown subject forcing entry by bending the aluminum louvers that cover the locking mechanism. The City of Brisbane has since installed a metal plate prohibiting the door from being tampered with. Between 09/26/13 and 09/27/13, an unknown subject attempted to gain entry but was unsuccessful due to the metal plate installed. In the process of attempting to force entry the subject damaged the aluminum louvers that cover a portion of the door opening. The estimated damage is $200.00. Report #13-0927-001.

Suspicious Circumstance
The reporting party advised that his daughter?s neighbor has been acting strange that has his daughter scared of him. The father stated that his daughter?s male neighbor has be asking her out to dinner, attempting to look through her apartment windows and singing to her from outside her apartment. The subject has admitted to being Bipolar. Officers evaluated the subject for a psychiatric hold but the subject did not meet the threshold to be committed under 5150 of the Welfare and Institution Code. Criminal Threats
The reporting party advised that on 09/20/13 at 1800 hours, he was threatened with great bodily harm by a known customer. The same customer also left without paying for his drink. The victim was scared for his safety and told the customer to leave and not to return to his business. The customer ignored the trespass order and returned. The subject was arrested for making criminal threats, defrauding an inn keeper, and violating a trespass order. The subject was located arrested and booked into jail. Report #13-0921-002.

Check Fraud
The reporting party was selling a laptop on Craigslist.org. The victim entered into an agreement with a buyer who sent him a check that was in excess of the item he was selling. The seller was instructed to cash a check and send the excess back to the seller via Western Union. After a week the seller?s bank retracted all the funds that were withdrawn using a fraudulent check. The seller lost approximately $1,700.00. This case has been forwarded to the Palatine Police Department in Illinois to investigate further. Report #13-0923-001.

The reporting party advised that an ex-employee used her position to steal employee benefit from flex spending accounts and by ficticious filing false EDD Unemployment benefits on employees still currently employed with their company. The reporting party advised that on 09/20/13 at approximately 0530 hours, a neighbor saw a white Chevrolet pick up side swipe his vehicle that was legally parked on the street. Driving Under the Influence
Officers were dispatched to a subject sleeping in his vehicle. The subject had been drinking and was sleeping in his vehicle. After being admonished to remain in his parked car and not drive, the driver left and began driving. The driver was stopped and subsequently arrested for driving under the influence. Officers responded to a report of a stolen license plate of a vehicle. While speaking with the registered owner, officers discovered the owner of the vehicle to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest in the amount of $7,500.00. The vehicle had exited the freeway and the male exited the vehicle and started walking. CHP arrived on scene and arrested one of the parties for driving under the influence. The reporting party advised that on 09/13/2013 at approximately 2200 hours, a male subject entered the business and attempted to access a locked coin box.
