An officer towed a 1986 Mercedes for a violation of 22651 (o) (1) VC ? Registration expired in excess of six months. Case Closed. Report # 11-0727-0001.
An officer towed a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix for a violation of 22651 (k) VC ? vehicle abandoned on the street in excess of 72 hours. Case Closed. Report # 11-0714-0001.
An officer towed a 2010 Honda CR-V for a violation of 22651 (k) VC ? vehicle abandoned on the street in excess of 72 hours. Case Closed. Report #11-0509-0001.
An officer towed a 2002 Ford E250 van after the vehicle was left standing partially in the roadway in a no parking, tow-away zone. It was determined that the vehicle constituted a roadway hazard and the vehicle was towed per 22651 (b) VC. Case Closed. Report # 11-0709-0001.
Carrying a Concealed Weapon Threats on a Peace Officer The reporting party advised that on the night of 07/29/11, a subject known to her brandished a concealed weapon to her in a public place during the course of a disagreement. An investigation was conducted and the suspect was ultimately arrested. During the time of the arrest the suspect made criminal threats against a police officer. The suspect was booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed. Report # 11-0730-0002.
The reporting party advised that her vehicle was vandalized by a known subject who was sill on scene; the subject kicked and scuffed the vehicle and removed the hood emblem (the damage was estimated at less than $400). A witness came forward and signed a citizen?s arrest affidavit. The subject was arrested and transported to the Brisbane Police Station. He was cited and released. Case closed. Report # 11-0731-0001.
The reporting party advised that sometime between 03/24/11 and 07/25/11, and unknown vehicle struck her parked vehicle causing minor damage. The driver of the unknown vehicle did not stop and make the required notifications. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated. Unlawful use of Access Card
The reporting party advised that an unknown subject in Canton, Georgia used her debit card information to make two fraudulent purchased in a Georgia Office Max store. The purchases were in the amount of $413.95. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated. This case was suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report # 11-0726-0001
The reporting party advised that on 07/28/11 between 0630 hours and 07/29/11 at 1000 hours, unknown subjects vandalized a fence belonging to the company. The approximate repair cost is $500. On 07/25/11 at approximately 0900 hours, officers responded to the report of a subject who was vandalizing school property. The subject fled on foot prior to officers? arrival and he was not located anywhere in the area. Officers located a wall that had been vandalized with spray paint to the rear of the school. This case was suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report # 11-0725-0001.
The reporting party advised that between 05/24/11 and 06/03/11, unknown subject(s) obtained company information and forged and cashed three checks in the amount of $9515.21. An investigation was conducted and it was discovered that the fraudulent checks were used in three different out-of-county jurisdictions. It is unknown how the suspect(s) obtained the company information. A copy of this report was forwarded to the outside agencies of jurisdiction for further follow up. Case closed. On 07/24/11 at approximately 1801 hours, officers responded to a major injury collision that was between a vehicle and a juvenile bicyclist. The vehicle struck the juvenile as the juvenile rode his bike across the street. The juvenile was thrown off of his bike and landed on the roadway edge; he sustained a broken leg and head injuries. It was determined that the juvenile had entered the roadway without looking or slowing down and the driver did not have sufficient reaction time to stop. The juvenile was transported to the emergency room by AMR. Case closed. Report # 11-0724-0005.
Driving Under the Influence
On 07/24/11 at approximately 0453 hours, an officer contacted a driver during the course of a welfare check. The driver displayed the symptoms of alcohol intoxication. An investigation was conducted and the driver was found to have been operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The driver was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed. Report # 11-0724-0002.
On 07/24/11, the reporting party advised that a subject known to her had been harassing her and making annoying phone calls to her. While an officer was speaking to the reporting party the subject called her and the officer overheard the subject yelling and swearing at the reporting party. This case was forwarded to the San Mateo County District Attorney?s Office for review. Case closed. Report # 11-0724-0001.
The reporting party advised that on 07/21/11 between 1140 hours and 1300 hours, unknown suspect(s) took her laptop computer from her place of work while she was away on her lunch break. The loss was valued at approximately $1000. This investigation is on-going. Report # 11-0721-0003.
On 07/22/11 officers responded to the report of found property. It was later determined that the property was unreported stolen property. An investigation was conducted and limited suspect information was generated. This investigation is on-going. Report # 11-0722-0002.
The reporting party advised that on 07/21/11 at approximately 2335 hours, two unknown subject(s) attempted to burglarize three company trucks. The attempted burglary was caught on video surveillance; however, nothing was taken and no vehicles were damaged. The video footage was not clear enough to develop detailed suspect descriptions. An investigation was conducted and no further leads were generated. This case was suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report # 11-0722-0003.
An officer contacted a subject who had illegally parked his vehicle. It was discovered that the subject had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed. Report # 11-0718-0005.
The reporting party advised that between 07/18/11 at 1830 hours and 07/19/11 at 0600 hours, unknown subject(s) took away a refrigerator from his truck without permission. The loss was estimated at approximately $200. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated. This case was suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report # 11-0719-0001.
The reporting party advised that sometime between 06/11/11 and 07/14/11, unknown subject(s) intercepted a package that was mailed to him from the DMV that contained license plates for the reporting party?s new car. A vehicle fraudulently using the plates evaded tolls at two local bridges; the violations were captured on surveillance video. This investigation is on-going. Report # 11-0718-0004.
An officer responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle. It was discovered that the vehicle had been stolen out of another jurisdiction. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated. A copy of this report was sent to the originating agency. Case closed. Report # 11-0718-0001.
On 07/17/11 at approximately 1830 hours, an officer was conducting a patrol check in regards to an unrelated incident when he observed two subjects running from the rear of a closed business; the subjects ran up a hill and toward a wilderness area. The subjects dropped several bags and cases. It was later discovered that the bags and cases contained stolen property. An extensive search was conducted but the subjects were not located. An investigation was conducted and no further leads were generated. This case was suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report # 11-0717-0003.
The reporting party advised that his ex-wife was in custody of their two juvenile children and she was intentionally concealing them from him. An investigation was conducted and the children were found to be safe and in the care of their mother. There is no merit to the allegation of child abduction. This was a case of a civil / child custody dispute where no court order and no child custody provisions were established. Case closed. Report # 11-0715-0001.
The reporting party advised that a large amount of household trash and debris was dumped to the rear of an unoccupied building. An investigation was conducted and it was discovered that the dumped items belonged to a subject out of San Francisco. The subject was located and interviewed; she admitted that the refuse belonged to her and the items came from her home. However, she refused to take responsibility for the dumped items and refused to make arrangement to clean the dump sight. This case was forwarded to the San Mateo County District Attorney?s Office for review. Case closed. Report # 11-0717-0001.
The reporting party advised that on 07/07/11 between 0546 hours and 0806 hours, unknown subject(s) took three laptop computers from a delivery truck. The loss amount was $15,367.32. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated. This case was suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report # 11-0713-0002.
The reporting party advised that on 07/03/11 at approximately 1530 hours, he parked his vehicle in a parking stall. He returned at approximately 2345 hours, and he discovered that his vehicle had been stolen. On 07/05/11, the reporting party learned that his vehicle was discovered unoccupied and parked on a roadway in San Francisco. He picked up his vehicle and drove it back to Brisbane where a stolen vehicle recovery was completed. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated as to who may have stolen his vehicle. The reporting party advised that between 07/07/11 at approximately 1150 hours and 7/08/11 at 0830 hours, his parked vehicle was vandalized by having been ?keyed.? The damage was estimated at approximately $8000. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated. This case was suspended pending further leads or suspect information. The reporting party advised that between 07/12/11 at 1800 hours and 07/13/11 at 0700 hours, unknown subject(s) entered a locked vehicle by prying a door lock and they took away two batteries from the vehicle. Fraudulent use of Credit Card
The reporting party advised that sometime on 07/03/11, her purse was lost or stolen at an unknown location (possibly either in South San Francisco or Brisbane). She later discovered that one of her credit cards had been fraudulently used at an on-line purchasing service (PayPal). There was approximately $450 worth of purchases made. The reporting party advised that on 07/10/11 between 1845 and 1900 hours, unknown subject(s) spray painted graffiti on the side of a company vehicle. The damage was estimated at less than $400. This case was suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report # 11-0710-0002.
The reporting party advised that on 07/12/11 between 0930 and 1045 hours, unknown subject(s) took personal property from the reporting party?s front yard without permission. Fraudulent Use of Credit Card
An unknown female subject fraudulently used credit card information to secure a reservation at a local hotel. The hotel staff was alerted of the fraud by an on-line reservation service. The subject fled the hotel before she could be contacted by the police. An investigation was conducted and no leads were generated.
