While on patrol, an officer saw two citizens forcibly restraining another subject in the roadway. Subsequent investigation revealed that the restrained subject had stolen beer from the store owned by one of the two citizens and had challenged the citizens to fight. The subject was also the suspect in the assault and battery that had occurred on 12/28/09. While officers were placing him under arrest, the subject forcibly resisted. He was booked at the jail.
