Driving Under the Influence
An officer stopped a driver for a vehicle code violation. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and transported to First Chance. Case closed. Report #09-1201-001.

Theft/Resisting Arrest
While on patrol, an officer saw two citizens forcibly restraining another subject in the roadway. Subsequent investigation revealed that the restrained subject had stolen beer from the store owned by one of the two citizens and had challenged the citizens to fight. The subject was also the suspect in the assault and battery that had occurred on 12/28/09. While officers were placing him under arrest, the subject forcibly resisted. He was booked at the jail. His parole agent was contacted and a parole hold was also issued. Report #09-1229-002.

Officers responded to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian. Subsequent investigation revealed that there had not been a collision, but that the pedestrian was so intoxicated she had fallen and injured herself.
